I’m just so emotionally drained watching this team that I’m not posting as much.

This is almost worse than the pre Ledecky years because at least those teams sucked and weren’t too talented. This team actually has players who are supposed to be good.

Barzal's contract isn't in the top 10 problems with this franchise right now.

In fact with a better GM who wouldn't gum up the cap with middle-6 players and instead add legit 1st line wingers, I'd argue that Barzal's contract would be totally fine.
