Malkin is the most stable owner we have had. If that makes him the best, ok, but that only speaks to how low the bar is for this franchise. Until he cuts out the wound that is Lou he is just about as bad as the rest in his own way.

Yet another Dobson 2v1 misplayed. He is just awful.

Adam Pelech may be the most offensively inept defenseman we have had here in years. Mayfield possesses a better offensive acumen.

and the coaching- Our pk has been better since Holmstrom went down. It's not a coincidence. The Barzal deployment on the PP is just stupid. I know where he belongs. Wy don't they? How the fudge do you wind up with Cholowski and George out there together? Oh my. I like George's potential but c'mon, Pairing him with Dobson. Stop. You can't play him in a lineup with Dobson and Cholowski in it. His ridiculous hate for Engvall has made him utterly useless.

Hickey just said we look like an easy team to beat. We literally see almost every backup goaltender in the league.

It's either the players, coach or both. What are you prepared to do about it?

It’s shocks me Roy continues to pull the goalie. It’s been wildly unsuccessful. We don’t even generate anything with an extra man. His decisions seem very much about philosophy and not getting the most out of his team. I can see why the PK and PP have struggled and not adapted. He’s done some stuff well but overall he has done enough to get fired. This is the season to blow it up. Lou. Roy. Some core guys. Fire sale.

Probably the biggest moment of game was Horvat 1 on 1 with goalie on PK at 2-3. He had to score there and again came up short. It's a trend for him

If you pull back even futher...Lou really hasn't done a freakin' thing except bleed this team of picks and young talent and gum up the cao with aging vets.

If we're being honest, all of our success can be attributed to Trotz (in fact it was 80% snow's roster that Trotz took to the semifinals).

The moment Trotz left it was all over. Just took a while for the casual fan to realize that Lou is the problem.

Just go to the secondary market. Then now matter what the price is just wait until the last moment (like few hours before the game). You will get a solid ticket for a better price.


***Also side benefit of buying through the secondary market is the money goes to someone who previously purchased tickets and not to Malkin. Until Lou is gone that's the best way to send him the message.

That wasn't an option. And, again, as far as I am concerned you are completely ignoring the state of our farm system. Disastrous and dysfunctional are not nearly adequate to describe what Lou and Chris have wrought down there. NHL teams that have had farm systems as bad as ours currently is have, as a general rule, at least achieved something of consequence along the way.

I have been to the last five home games. For one win and being outscored 16-5 in other four.
Waited five years to get back to see the Isles, and it's been a crushing disappointment.
We sat rinkside tonight and here are my largely clueless takes on what I saw.
I never felt like we could win after Flyers tied it. You could see the second period collapse unfolding as team fell apart.
Roy does not strike me as a good coach. He puts players in situations they are not suited for. Eg Cholowski on in the dying minutes after playing like a muppet all game. He should have been nowhere near the ice.
Cholowski was brutal. His second penalty was so dumb, Pulock had the puck and was moving ahead. Just brain dead play.
Sorokin was not good. He was not peppered with shots and made very few meaningful saves. Hogberg actually looked better when he played!
Dobson. Lord knows whats happened, he's collapsed under Roy. Plays like his heart is not in it. Also always puts his shots along the ice and the goalies know this. His shots rarely threaten this season.
I thought Pelech was okay. Pulock too. They weren't the problem. Pelech at least tried to create offensively, which isn't really his thing.
Barzal was Barzal. He can be so frustrating.
Nelson was apparently a healthy scratch. Again.
Bo pretty much had the game on his stick on the PK when he was in on goal and could have tied it up. He couldn't convert. He seems to do that a lot. At least he broke the PP drought but he still seems a bit underwhelming given the expectations for him.
Anders had no influence, even with the deflected goal. At least he's done well until last few games.
Pager same.
Palmieri had even less.
Duclair even less again.
Engvall same.
A few games ago Tsyplakov looked solid, but he's gone cold. He's capable of better than what we're seeing.
Casey tried without impacting.
Martin, I question what he now brings and why he's there. You barely see him in games, four minutes on ice, and he was lucky Ilya did make one of his good saves when Matt passed it straight across goals to a Flyers player. Martin's presence another question mark over Roy.
The entire fourth line offers nothing now. The fourth line used to hit hard and wear teams down.
There is none of that now, they just go through the motions and hope that's enough.
There is more talent in the team, albeit some of it aging, that what they are showing. And again that makes me think Roy doesn't have what it takes to get results.

Even on the breaks, they were coming up to him, hitting him, putting their gloves in his face and he did SHIT!!! Now I understand, maybe you think he should have fought But after so much he had to stick up for himself. He looked soft. No one from he team defended him. Flyers then started cross checking and slashing all isles during and on commercial breaks.... I can't take this team, they all should be embarrassed. In the 2nd period, during the break, there was a face off in the Flyers zone. Brazal was on the wing awaiting, Couturier comes over and just lays a big shoulder into him. Brazal, didn't even blink, didn't say shit nor did any of his teammates. Almost every flyer was trying to get any lsles to enage with them in some sort of physcial battle. NOTHING!

I'm done with this team, I seriously hope we lose every game going forward because I don't want anyone on this roster next year.
