I don't think it’s going to happen. Look at how he skates now. He’s using the same skating style as Mackinnon and McDavid now. It really opens up a lot of space for him and his linemates.

And I know people look at it as a detriment to McCann, but I think it betters the team as a whole. Why? Because then you can PURPOSELY move top lines off Sid's line who struggles so badly defensively. Then Sid's line can specifically focus on offense.

It's not putting a player down. It's just trying to fit the team to play right.

I've been hoping McCann turns the corner consistency-wise like Rust for a while. If this is his breakout season, awesome. I'm just not gonna hold my breath because he's gone on streaks before.

It's a shame we have no shot at Laughton at the deadline. The Flyers will want premium to deal him here, if he's even dealt, and 3-team deals are so hard to pull off it may as well not even be a talking point. It'd be nice to see how/where he fits for a bit before we potentially commit to him this summer. Though I do think Hextall/Burke will make a run at him if he hits the open market for sure.

Zucker is Petts to me at this point. He adds nothing, and if part of whatever GMRH does involves moving one or both of them, I suspect the Pens will be the better for it.
