Did we make our typical stupid mistakes and not bury our chances... of course. But you watched that game and thought the Leafs drastically outplayed us, then I am not sure you understand hockey. The difference was their goalie made the saves and ours gave up at least one incredibly soft weak goal.

You have a common refrain though whenever we lose to the Rangers/Leafs/Devils - “we actually outplayed them but it was really the refs/goalie’s fault…”

Once again, not saying it will happen this year, but I am sure most of us were saying this exact same thing when they were 7 points out of a playoff spot in February last year. And again, just to be clear, I am not defending this team or this course of action, I am just saying anybody who thinks Lou is going to sell has not been following the last 5 years
Consistency and meaningful games, they need to be honest with themselves that that isn't happening and start making changes and selling off, not disagreeing at all.
