Exactly. He looked good to start the season but as time has gone on he is looking worse and worse. He still makes a spectacular save here and there each game but he is so inconsistent and outplayed all the time.

Put it this way, a week ago I watched gor absolutely steal a game for Rangers. They had no right to win.
I can't recall last time Ilya did that. He makes some nice saves but he's not standing on his head.

By the team NYI re-tools and is ready to contend Sorokin with have 1-2 years left. They’d be better off trading him now for a bigger haul to jump start the re-tool.
