Garth Snow Pt. III - Snow’s inactivity

I follow the boards more than the games. I think I watched 10 games this year all in the 1st half 3 in person 4 on tv 3 on the radio. Its like watching your adult son whos a drinker and drug addict ...thats the vibe watching these lousy owners and their friends and family hockey entourage.

Yep, I was a regular 2/3rds into the year, but since the slide started I knew they would dig themselves too big a hole.

Actually I didn’t see a lot of the 14, 15, and 16 seasons, regretting that now.

Will not witness another snow led team. I look forward to seeing where the owner’s priorities are this offseason.

Can we stop the "back to back 100 points!" arugment for Snow yet? He just had back to back missing the playoffs after over a decade as being GM. I don't get how anybody could still support Snow as GM.

someone really needs to get the details on snows legal status within the team. is it possible he even owns part of it by now and we wouldnt know it? does he get a huge bonus if fired? whobelse in sports is unfirable? the yankees ate 40 to 60 million on Arod who wasnt even that bad. Isbit possible snow gets 50 million dollars if fired? I need to see the legal papers because nobody in theirbright mind can think ledecky keeps snow due to his success or even for tavares sake. Weve seen this tavares show long enough. I would of traded him even if he wanted to stay if i got a young #1 defensman.

Especially when back to back 100 point seasons is the absolute pinnacle of his success as GM.

One would hope that when a team goes through a long rebuild, the end result to look forward to isn't back to back 100 point seasons and beating the Florida Panthers in round 1 of the playoffs as the payoff.

Dont worry everybody, get excited, Scott Mayfield might be back tomorrow ALREADY!!!!!!

I cant wait for him to come back and then we win the last 7 games of the season and Snow says see that is why we missed the playoffs and why I signed him to a five year extension.

God I hate this team, there have never been so many players on the Islanders that I couldnt care less about. There are like maybe 8-9 players I feel loyalty/attachment to in this group. 2/3 of the roster could f*** off for all I care, along with their beloved GM.

I’m going to be mad when he’s relieved of his GM title but remains on as Team President so L&M don’t have to pay him his severance or something like that.

This organization needs a clean slate to try and change the culture BEFORE moving to Belmont. This needs to be done when the season is over.

I would guess about a week before the TDL when he stated he wasn't trading JT. Which is insane in and of itself because what if a team was prepared to mortgage their future?
