Getting into Path of Exile for the first time. It’s a lot, but I’m really enjoying the leveling experience. I tried going without a build guide and I can already tell my build is not going to be strong enough for endgame, but I look forward to firing up another character and following a guide to really dive deep once I finish the campaign.

After months i'm finally making my way toward the end of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Loving this game, I don't know what I will go on to play when this is all over.

I went back to Far Cry 5. And God I missed this game! I absolutely love it. The location, the music, the gameplay are so on point. There is no need for exotic locations in a Far Cry game.

Persona 5 Strikers is surprisingly quality for a spin off game. I don't even like the combat but it's growing on me quite a bit.

If anyone hasn't been following, they had to turn Suicide Squad's (live service) servers off shortly after launched because a bug was causing some players to show as having completed the game as soon as they started it and they couldn't play.

Still, pre-order digital games and that.

Giving Fallout 76 another try, it is definitely improved with the updates, but I still don't know if I'm sold on it
Been replaying it for a while now and it grows on me. I have now a proper main weapon (the Fixer) and slowing building my SPECIAL around it.

I got no main or side quests left so I'm having fun doing the daily and weekly challenges as well as finding the spots of the treasure maps. And I'm trying to pop some achievements like the Lesser devils one in the Atlantic City expedition.

I started playing Godzilla Voxel Wars a few days ago. It's a cute little turn-based puzzle/strategy game that's made by Toho and clearly inspired by Into the Breach. You play primarily as Godzilla and must use each turn to move and attack on a grid and prevent other monsters from the Japanese Godzilla movies (like Rodan, Mothra and such) from damaging civilian buildings. The gameplay is instantly familiar if you've played Into the Breach. Where it differs is that, instead of a roguelite with procedurally generated levels and characters that you hire and upgrade, it's a simpler, more casual, mobile-like game with a series of pre-designed, self-contained scenarios with the possibility of 3 stars on each. At first, I was a little disappointed by the simplified and easier gameplay, but I've really warmed up to it and am enjoying it, especially since I started challenging myself to not move onto the next scenario until I've gotten not just all 3 stars, but figured out the ideal sequence of moves and attacks. It's rather satisfying and scratches my efficiency itch when I get the "Perfect Strategy" achievement for a scenario. Also, the cute, blocky graphics and classical string soundtrack are a pleasure to look at and listen to. It's a charming and relaxing game that's mildly challenging, good for short gaming sessions and especially worthwhile if you're a fan of Into the Breach. That's one of my favorite games of the last decade, so I'm happy that there's finally another game with somewhat similar gameplay, even if it's simpler.

Aside from Persona 3 Reload I'm playing the PC port of Ocarina of Time. The game is still fun today but I really can't wait for the Majora's Mask port, that game is so much better than OOT imo but these days 20 FPS on the N64 version won't cut it and I dislike the 3DS version.

Balatro demo. The full game releases on the 20th. It's a poker deck builder roguelike. Has some similar qualities to Slay the Spire. It's insanely addictive and it's only the demo. Has that "just one more run" quality that StS has. I have 15 hours in the demo and I want to just keep playing more. Very excited for the full release.

Had heard Arkane made a bunch of updates to Redfall, so jumped in. Didn’t even try it at launch after hearing of all the issues now, but today? It’s fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid 7. Added things that should have been there at launch like 60 FPS.

I loved the Dishonored games so I was super excited to try Deathloop and I was thoroughly disappointed. I was cautiously optimistic about Redfall but had no interest in paying much for it. Then I saw what an utter failure it was and just deleted it off my wishlist, I never plan on getting it. There are other games that I know were a bit of a disappointment that I'm still waiting to get really cheap like Rage 2 that I'd like to try but that's not going to be the case for Redfall for me.

I started playing Midnight Fight Express the other day. I got it out of a Humble Choice bundle. I am thoroughly entertained with this one! It's a very pleasant surprise. It has some flaws but playing it is a ton of fun.

I never finished Deathloop when I gave it a shot at first. It's on my list of games to go back to this year.

One of the games where I loved the ideas on offer but the execution just wasn't up to par.
