Those three Tomb Raider games are all really fun, IMO. More adventure than Uncharted but still has good action.

I wanted to play Mass Effect 3 so that meant buying it...again. I didn't have a 360 when the first ones were released so I got the first two on PC. I eventually got a 360 and all three games. Then, they finally came to PS3, so I had to buy them. I even got ME3 on Wii U because why the f*** not at that point. Got the legendary edition for Series when it came out....and I just bought it again for PS5. I need help lol

I think It's same to say you like Mass effect

I'm one of the few that liked Andromeda, best gameplay in the series. Of course, the characters and story don't match the original trilogy. I think people had their expectations too high when it came out.

I loved the original trilogy, I'm still looking for Andromeda stores don't have it here.

Still working on RE4

Went back to Tiger Woods 05 on the original Xbox, and while the visuals are much better on current golf games, I still think this might be the best one ever made

How the hell did Starfield win the Steam award for "most innovative gameplay"? Theres literally nothing innovative about it.

I got Resident Evil 4 back in 2005 on the Gamecube, one of my favourite games ever.
Just last night, downloaded the Ninja Turtles package on my Switch.

Bethesda fanboys.

The general consensus on starfield outside of the Todd Howard bubble is that it's a disappointing rehash of games they did like 10 years ago while also kinda being somehow worse than something like say, Skyrim.

My favorite part of the game is how they spend 20 minutes teaching you spaceflight/dog fighting (actually didn't feel too bad) and then the next tutorial completely nullifies it by showing you can fast travel literally everywhere.

Most overrated game of the year and it isn't even close

Also BG3 should of won the "best soundtrack" award instead of a 10 year old game that was recently ported to PC and a bad port at that.

Can a game be overrated when literally the only time anyone ever talks about it is to shit on it? I haven't seen a positive conversation regarding Starfield since September . 29% positive recent reviews on Steam as well.

That was surprising (since recent reviews are usually higher, due to patches), so I checked it out and it appears to be largely a reaction to the "most innovative" award.

Examples (all from different negative reviews):

"no WAY this won most innovative gameplay"
"Most innovative gameplay has to be ironic, right?"
"Shouldn't have won any award and definitely not most innovative."
"This is NOT the most innovative game of 2023."
"More like most mid gameplay"
"Least innovative game I ever played."
"'Most innovative gameplay'. Is this an actual april fools joke?"
"THE MOST INNOVATIVE GAMEPLAY!!"

Yeah that makes me wonder how it even won in the first place, either there's a silent majority of people who like the game or it was a well executed troll job lol.

Personally I would've liked to see Shadows of Doubt win it, haven't played the game yet but it seems like a truly innovative idea which is rare these days.

Makes sense actually. "Most innovative game" is kind of a redundant category because there's so little actual innovation. And I don't mean that as a negative, there's just so many established games and genres out there that it's hard to be truly 'innovative' in a way that stands out with mass appeal for a year end Ward category.

There were probably some really innovative indy games last year, but few people probably played them so Bethesda fans could just vote for Starfield and it could probably win with like 20% of the vote.

Playing Mario Odyssey for the first time despite owning since like day one. Having a lot of fun waiting for Wonder to arrive in the mail - a great game when youre just playing in between watching your little ones.

Also Shin Megami Tensei V finally - to balance out the vibes of Mario, I guess.

Replaying Full Spectrum Warrior through the magic of backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X.

This game is so damn cool and fun. I wish more developers had taken a page from this game and it's small-squad tactical design. It works perfectly on console and is just as tense as ever. GREAT game from the height of the 'Wow, THQ is actually good now' days.

I'm playing the original Resident Evil 4 as I've seen many people say they prefer it over the remake. Just got to the castle and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The tank movement definitely takes getting used to but I think the shooting mechanics of the original suit an action game better than the mechanics lifted from RE2 (2019) that were used in the remake. The cutscenes are also a lot funnier. It's hard to say which one I prefer at this point.

Went back to Fallout 76 for the Atlantic City update and I noticed they fixed the Brotherhood of Steel questline bug. Had a ton on fun this weekend!

Was that a free update?

How is the game these days? I played a bit when it first released as I was a huge FO3/NV/FO4 fan but got tired of being randomly butchered by assholes wandering by that were 20 levels above me

I’ve only played a very short demo of RE2 remake, and while I thought the over the shoulder camera made for a much more intense experience, it no longer felt like Resident Evil to me.

Something about those polygons, awkward camera angles, and glitchy cut scenes that make the originals so much better to me. I’ve played and finished 0 through 3, and maybe half of Code Veronica. Much prefer those to the newer style

‘Mastered’ Reptile in MK1 (which really just means I completed the mini 35-level battlepass thing full of character unlocks). Moving onto Sub Zero. Really enjoying MK1 more than an MK since MK9.

Kinda taken over from SF6, cause Im stuck in my tier online (which probably means its exactly where I should be), and I dont really care about the unlocks in that game.

Yes it's a free update. And there are a bunch of others also like the Pitt.

The game runs more smoothly than I remember. It's now a community as when you encounter another player who's at a higher level, they usually ask if you need help or drop items like plans, recipes, stimpaks, etc. No one is trying to kill you.

Feels more like FO4.

That is good to hear, maybe I'll give it another spin

The only of the pre-4 Resident Evils I've played is REmake, which I got stuck in at one point and just never came back to it. Its on my list of games to beat though.

Personally RE2 (2019) is in my top 5 games of all time, I've played through it many times and got all the achievements. One of the games that made me fall back in love with games in 2020 after a few years away.
