Playing the crap out of Far Cry 6. Man what a fresh and fun story.

Almost done with Death Stranding - Directors cut. Just absolutely spectacular.

Kena Bridge of spirits is new but it’s already one of the best ever PlayStation exclusive games.

Call of Duty - Black Ops Cold War. Love this game!

Deathloop is a really pleasant surprise!

I occasionally play Mass Effect remastered to wind down the day.

This is what I’m playing now instead of Destiny 2.
FarCry6 is a lot of fun. Though its funny how fast the enemy respawns right away the very second you turn away, killed the same sniper in the same tower like about 20 times that kept respawning while i was 5 feet away from it. The developers are working on a patch to fix the enemies respawning too near and too soon after the player kills them.

Some other funny things happen such as i was hiding from an enemy goon and out of nowhere a civilian in a car runs him over for me & they continue off driving.
Lost count how many times Chorizo has been run over by civilian cars.

Kid Icarus (nes) a classic
Duke Nukem 64 (N64) on the hardest difficulty setting... thank you jesus for memory cards
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (Nintendo DS) love the Castlevania series on the DS... overall the DS is a very underrated system imo

Didn't the DS sell over 150 million units ? It's like the PS2 of handhelds.

I'm about halfway through Castlevania Lords of Shadow. It's pretty fun, the camera angles have aged very poorly though. The combat itself is solid though and the story is pretty interesting so far.

Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun + expansion pack
man this game is so good. brings back memories of playing on lan vs my little brother. good times, good times.
PS... the soundtrack kicks ass

Where did you get this game? Its not on Steam.

Edit: I googled it, so EA basically made this game freeware (but dont have it on the EA store even), kind of a weird situation.

Perhaps they're remastering it and made it unavailable so as not to hurt their eventual profits. I hope so because the C&C/Red Alert remaster is probably the best remaster that I've ever played and I just couldn't get into C&C2. I'm willing to try it again, but maybe not the same version that I didn't like the first time.

Started Kingdom Come Deliverance last night, a few hours in so far, this might be a challenge to see through

I recall the prologue lasting an obscene length of time, like 5 hours, much of it cutscenes. Once you get through that, though, the game really opens up and becomes a true open-world RPG. You just need some initial patience and you should be rewarded.

I know literally nobody has played or even heard of this game but I'm currently playing City of Brass and man the combat is so damn satisfying. Basically sword and whip combat like indiana jones. Just one problem, its a procedurally generated rogue-like game. Instant uninstall. I'd love if they or someone else made this game in a more normal story and campaign, I realize it was probably an indie kickstarter or something (I just looked it up, its a $70k kickstarter, maybe I should cut it some slack in that case) but I just wish it had some more polish.

I only saw like a match but it looked like R6 Siege up a couple notches.
I played it a little bit when it first came out on PC a few years ago, it just came out on consoles the other day, and it's hardly like Siege at all. Siege is really small with focused 5v5 while Insurgency is pretty much on a grand scale. I'm not sure what the servers are like with consoles but I want to say it was 16v16 and maps made Siege maps look incredibly tiny. It's very realistic so two body shots with most guns will kill someone. You have to play smart and use a lot of smokes and flashes, coordinate as a team, etc. I played a lot of the original Insurgency. It's one of the very few games I have over 200 hours in. My problem is I played it a lot with my friend and he never ended up getting Sandstorm so I never played much Sandstorm. At this point, I'm sure it's getting a lot more popular with the console release but I'm too obsessed with Pavlov VR to want to play any other multiplayer game.

I recently got a copy of Wrath of the Righteous and I think I'm.. 20 hours in and I'm only in the 3rd act. It's one of my favorite cRPGs as of late. Also helps that it's a adaptation of one of my favorite Pathfinder Adventure Paths so I'm already in love with the source material lol. Though playing a caster is very, VERY painful if you don't get Spell Penetration Feats, but at that point why play a caster without Spell Pen.

Once you get into the main game and get used to the combat, it's a bunch of fun.

Yeah I threw in the towel on it, between the combat and the bugs I was running into I just couldn't do it

Not sure where to go next.

Almost finished with the story on Mario Golf

Maybe Psychonauts 2, or something else on game pass next

Finished Metroid Dread (amazing game) and now starting Sekiro. I was playing Bloodborne but I hate playing on the PS4 with low frame rates, load times, etc (since I have a gaming laptop as well as a gaming PC, I can sync the saves and play anywhere).

Anyways, didn't expect Sekiro to be this good. Beat the first boss on the horse and now at Hirata estate and it's pretty damn amazing. Having trouble stopping myself.

Still doing a lot of Gunfire Reborn with a full 4 player team of friends. One of the best co-op games in recent years.

Solo, been working on the back catalog of games in my steam library. Currently on Far Cry 2–had a FPS sandbox shooter itch I needed to scratch. Fun game even though the engagements are highly repetitive.

Might move onto the 2016 Doom next after Far Cry.

I really enjoyed Far Cry 2, myself. I don't understand why it gets so much hate. It's not that dissimilar from FC3 and FC4, which people seem to love. The main difference is the addition of hunting to alleviate some of the repetition of engaging humans, as you noted. That variety is nice, but it contributes to a lot of the grinding in FC3 and FC4 that hurt the fun, IMO. I'm actually playing FC4 for the first time right now and all of the grinding gets wearisome... mostly the hunting and having to climb all of the stupid radio towers. In FC2, you don't need grind animal skins just to carry more supplies or climb tall towers just to reveal the map.

I am enjoying FC2 which is why I'm still playing it. My biggest gripe is repetitively dealing with enemy checkpoints to get from point A to point B on missions I'm working. I think FC1 had a better variety of engagements, even though it didn't have nearly as much of the sandbox elements as FC2, so I can understand people being unhappy with the FC1 to FC2 transition.

Have FC3 in the library as well, I'm sure that will be on the playlist in the not too far future.

What I meant is that I enjoyed it, as well. I wasn't lumping you in with the critics..

I thought that I was the person most behind in the series by only now getting around to FC4. You're even further behind than me.

I got a week off work so I plan on playing Max Payne 1, 2 and 3. the first two are classics. never played the 3rd but I'm sure I'll love it like I do with all rockstar games.
