Why tf did the Rangers think it would be a good idea to put Quick in goal against the top scoring team in the east right now?

Guess they thought CBJ would be the greater challenge this weekend but they must not have been watching Mtl play this last month.

The TSN crew is trying to argue Montreal playing two home games at 7pm has created "brain fog" lmao because they're "not used to it" and they had a long road trip leading up to the back to back home games. The horror. They've been done dirty with scheduling.

Not that I actually think they're this close to equal, and Quick would have the easier backup deployment, but it's surprising to me how close Igor and Quick's save % numbers are this year and last. Only .002 higher save % last year and .010 this year.

On the plus side, both the Rangers and Habs are very beatable if the Sens play the way they have been. Was like watching OHL hockey except for the goalies.

It almost feels like the entire league is that way now. It really doesn't feel like we have that classic unbeatable team on every given night. Doesn't seem to be anyone where you can say they don't have a weakness you can exploit.
