I'd argue that in life, and in hockey, being 19-20 is not a 'grown man'.

7 guys are that age, one of whom isn't playing because he hasn't arrived yet.
To say they can't handle physicality of "grown men," especially when the NCAA has players who are 23-24 and sometimes 25, is ridiculous.

I only stated the age of most people in college. And I think if we are struggling with anything, it's nerves and just getting used to playing together.

Farrell makes it 4-0.

Glad he's scored after some of his passes so far.

I'm not too familiar with Sean Farrell, but this kid is really good.

LOL I take it all back. China looking so sluggish, US team with legit prospects looking sharp as well and just needed to warm their legs up. Hope they can put up another few goals.

Still can't imagine what kind of an exhibition an NHL roster would be here, yikes

It’d be a 15-0 route. Totally expect Russia to win gold. But I’m interested to see how US and Canada plays against Russia’s best

or am I overrating Russian KHL players?

My guess is that it will be Russia vs Canada for gold, and the Fins or us winning bronze.

Russia were outshot by Switzerland and only barely won 1-0, both USA & CAN should feel pretty confident of their chances so far but it's still just the first game for everyone. We'll get a better look tomorrow when USA plays Canada

Smith is spending so much time laying on the ice, and it's another Farrell goal, just way too easy.

5-0

This game is getting worse and worse from China. Just imagine if Austin Mathews was playings against China.
