Ouch it's 3-0 alreadyChina looking more complete than I assumed they would.
Canada already up 1-0 on Germany in the other game on now.

Not surprising at all.Ouch it's 3-0 already
Changed the rink size for international tournaments starting this yearWhy aren't they using Olympic ice?
You do realize Canada has lost to Germany in both the last Olympics and the last WC, right? Not surprising at all.
China looks great wow. Maybe they’ll start developing NHL players? But I doubt they keep it up I’m against USA Today, a lot to ask for with young players in the enemy country so I’m sure nerves played into it
A lot of their team aren't born in China. Chris Chelios's son is on the team....With that being the case, they did it right by organizing this team early, and then playing in the KHL so get some experience underneath them.
I was also impressed with China, but this is a young American team that hasn't been playing together in the KHL, so I still wouldn't be shocked if we won by 4-5 goals.
So no international tournaments use the big ice, just NHL size?Changed the rink size for international tournaments starting this year
China has a few young players born in China, and they are looking surprisingly good.
The team US certainly lacks something in physicality (a lot of college players there), but I'd better watch those guys that just a bunch of 35 y.o. ex-NHLers. This tournament shouldn't be taken completely seriously (my opinion), it is just for fun of the game but doesn't say much about the state of hockey in the participating countries.
Yeah seeing American/Canadian players play for USA is pretty wack. But whatever. I totally expect USA to keep dominating. Just didn’t expect this from Chinese hockey. They play pretty well regardless if it’s against our B/C level players.A lot of their team aren't born in China. I knew using too many NCAA guys would cause problems. The talent discrepancy is obvious between them and China, but many of the college guys are having difficulty handeling the physicality of grown men.
This could be disasterous vs the upper tier teams.
I'd argue that in life, and in hockey, being 19-20 is not a 'grown man'.The NCAA players are mostly grown men. This isn't the WJC team.
