Puljujärvi was scratched because he's the second worst healthy forward option and the worst option just happens to be a top prospect that is getting the chance to play through growing pains.

Habs are young and fast and have been slowly accumulating talent over the last few years. Expecting a loss.
Habs gave the Penguins problems last season and they're better this year, so I expect the Habs to out skate the Penguins and win this one 4-1, which of course will have every dimwit here wanting to blame it on Jarry anyway.

Penguns won all 3 games, but 2 of them went into OT and then one was a 4-1 win.

First game, the Penguins had to battle back against the bottom feeder Habs to take it to OT and win it in Shootouts (4-3 win, Ned in net)

Second game, Habs led it 2-1 until again the Penguins had to tie it and this time won in OT (3-2 win, Jarry in net)

Third game, 4-1 - Jarry in net.

So dipshit Sullivan putting Jarry in net for this one might help Jarry hopefully.

Play through growing pains is a stretch. Hard to play through growing pains when you sit for half periods at times with limited usage on a 3rd line that needs help. Rutger should be in WBS for his own sake, sitting for half periods, getting limited usage on the 3rd line that isn't really clicking all that much isn't great for development at all and against a very quick team like the Habs, I would bet Rutger plays maybe 10mins max, if we're lucky he hits 12 again.

No one should be shocked Sullivan isn't planning on changing anything, who is he going to take out? Rutger would be the one he would take out in this scenario and play Puljujarvi on the 3rd line. Or if he was smart, he'd dress Puustinen for the 3rd line with Doc and Eller since that line has some solid chemistry and could produce.

Nah, there's no need for logic.

Habs have a good young roster but they aren’t Toronto or NY. This should be a winnable game. Or at least a point.

We always struggle against them…they play structured…though we have pulled it out in OT/SO lately…Puusty played well against them last year so of course Sullivan won’t play him lol

I actually agree McGroarty would be better served in WBS, but I was explaining why Puljujärvi is sitting. Pool Party is currently better than McGroarty, but McGroarty is getting his minutes for development reasons.
