The whole NHL’s scheduling is that way. Just a matter of trying to fit 82 games in multipurpose arenas with other sports and conferences while getting ratings and attendance. It isn’t an Avs thing, is just how the league has to operate.

It's not the whole league. Just look at the Habs that have dedicated game nights (anchored to TV broadcasts) that create a steady pacing to their schedule.

Helllll no Macdermid should be used primarily at FWD. He hurts the team significantly less there than on the backend.

Just wanted to throw this out there but we should probably all go to the HOF and scratch the 2021-2022 Avs names off of the cup. We might as well throw in the towel and give the championship back to Vegas so that we can save ourselves the embarrassment of this pitiful cup defense season. Just a thought is all.

I had Markstrom vs Francouz in my fantasy hockey matchup and this basically won me the week so I'm fine with it.

Team was not 100% for the obvious reasons. Franky was good. The 2C/2nd line is the puzzle to be solved for the team.. Atm Newhook/ERod is not the answer, if they want to repeat.

Would like to thank the dumb-ass schedule maker for a horrible job opening the season, which includes a B2B to start the season, 3 days off, a game that starts almost the same time as the Broncos on MNF, and a game that starts an hour earlier than the Nuggets opener on Wednesday. I love trying to switch channels every 5 seconds... Thanks, asshole.

Huh? They are facing a 3 games in 4 nights schedule tonight with 4 in 6 too. Then have 5 back to backs in November and December (Avs have 2 total in those months, both in November). All teams have scheduling quirks.
