If the Bruins only play .500 the rest of the way they would have 90 points - last year 92 points got you in.

Aside from the goals, and I think one shift where Shattenkirk and Marchand had chances in the crease, the Bruins were largely ass in this game.

Thank god for the big boy pk, and UllMark coming up big in the 3rd.

Delighted to get a win when they didn’t have their A game, or really even the B game, they lose their two most active defensemen, and the officiating is dreadful.

Probably gonna have to finish the week without McAvoy now

Lots of guys had very mixed games but the did improve from the 2nd onward. Monty playing blender with the lines may have helped but it felt more about will than skill to get on track.

They need to stop those high slot passes to nowhere and shoot/crash. Coyle and Zacha made a couple late and they were headscratchers.

Debrusk was like a mirror of the team tonight. Looked like he didn’t care on half the shifts and the others going hard and not just stickpoke and backoff. He wasn’t the only one.

A lot of chemistry to build still as the lines don’t have a lot of flow and you can tell they are thinking a lot on the ice.

Great win though and fun night! Hats off to the D picking ip the minutes agains a heavy team. And kudos to Steen for the wallop. Great to see the mojo from him.

Home after a surprising come from behind ot win.

Ullmark a wall in net, the pk unreal all night- especially during the five minute major, what was probably Zacha's best game of the year, good Charlie with another strong net rush for a goal ..add it together and just enough to win.

on the minus side bad Charley's match penalty ( and likely suspension), Coyle fighting the puck, Jake looking less than engaged and a number of forward looking slow and tentative about making plays

so far, in what the press has called an early season three game " test" of Detroit- Florida- Toronto the Bs are 2-0 ; and with two D likely out and the Leafs hill just got steeper.

all that said - keep piling up those early season points!

Really disappointed with McAvoy. Already down a d-man. Just made a highlight-reel goal to tie the game. Then delivers a cheap shot that not only puts the Bs in a precarious position, but will likely be suspendable. Have no clue what was going through his mind, if anything.

Great win against a team that the Bs needed to beat. Would like to have been in the room in the first intermission. Some things were obviously said.
C-Mac has a temper, and his frustration still seething from last years playoffs must've got the best of him

Right after he scored a beautiful goal by going to the net to tie the game, the fans started howling, which got his adrenaline flowing, so he went right back to the net to create some more havoc, but lost his temper which will cost him a game or two

Thankfully the B's PP (and Ullmark) are among the best in the league, or else the Bruins would've came away with zero points....but the B's persevered and picked up the win.

..and F**K the Panthers!!

The Bruins PK and Ullmark won this game, the refs gave the Bruins nothing all game. The Bruins record when giving up the 1st goal is very impressive this year. Florida's talented and aggressive forwards give the Bruins problems, but they dug deep to pull it out. Going to be tough on Thursday if both McAvoy and Gryz are out.
I heard on the way home ...Grizz out at least 2 weeks.

I think Mac will sit a couple of games

Who is up next?

Marchy's goal doesn't happen without JDB.
Jake made that goal happen. He needs to do more of that.
