so back to the real task at hand, and maybe constructively discussing this..

Who do we replace him with?

Boucher seems like the only reasonable candidate at this point with Ruff gone. I don't like him.

This isn't a 5 point team. It's not. This isn't a Cup team either. This is a playoff team though. With a ****ing competent coach who manages the personnel well.

These guys aren't trying anymore. They're playing like they don't want to be the next guy yelled at in the film room. Our young guys all SUCK because they're SCARED.

I disagree, I think this team is not a contender. Only reason it seems like it is because our division is playing poorly right now. That's about it. No coach is going to solve all of this team's woes.

Well, I completely disagree. I never felt this team was a playoff team. An 8th seed maybe team..yeah, but definitely not in the playoffs. I thought they would finish in the 9-11th spot, and it looks like it may be worse.

There is way more than coaching to this.

Because we're mocking the Marty Lynch mob that blames everything on Marty, calls every goal a super softie, acts like goaltending stats dont need good D, and so forth.

And the division's not going to play poorly forever. Columbus is only getting better when they add Horton to the lineup. Someone else will eventually pick it up.

I cannot agree with you.... not sure if a coaching change will make up for the glaring lack of speed... finish and playmaking up front...couple that with a defense that is not adept at making the the quick crisp passes to make slow guys appear faster and so far what I would call not good goaltending considering the two names in net

im not saying don't fire debeor at this point you gotta show you give a **** to the fans and or start the fire sale as the trade deadline nears..


I liked this team better at the very beginning of last season when we had speed up front with some young Albany guys before we got healthy and started to suck....maybe since sal is hurt one of the young d will get called up and jump start this team who knows but im officially not getting pissed anymore we are not at Halloween and I have conceded

I don't think you want Laviolette. We would be even worse defensively than we are under Deboer.

Eakins is head coaching in Edmonton now. Not sure about Houda.
