Any word when he will be back? Please don't tell me he is day to day
They said 4 games minimum after the injury happened. Tomorrow against the Yotes will be the fourth game.

My gut says don't expect him back yet after tomorrow.

The really worrying part of all this? They just had 4 losses in a row and a few days off and they look like they've corrected jack and s.
They just focused on the power play apparently.

I don’t get what happened, his first game he was hitting like he didn’t miss a beat after the ACL injury. But ever since he’s stopped hitting
And when he's not hitting anyone he's completely useless.

The offense isn't bad, Dallas is as sloppy as we are. The score is 3-3 but I think their goalie has been better. We have tons of pressure, and have 3 for it. Dallas throws 3 on the net and they go in. Sucks but so far this year nothing has gone our way at all.

Furthermore, they have one of the greatest puck handling goalies of all time and yet they employ a style that lets teams carry the puck into their D zone. We should be forcing opposition to dump and chase and letting Shesty do his thing and acting as the third D. but no, we're playing pond hockey, and waving at pucks and just a bunch of BS

What happened to Dallas starting goalie?

I don't have too much of a problem with how they are playing, do they need to be better in the NZ? yes but it's a free flowing game both teams are willing to play. Just gotta finish.

He hasn’t even played 25 games yet. You will see.
He’s had multiple NHL experiences and he’s wildly out of place. I’m generally a mindset of guys needing time. I’m not buying it anymore. He may develop sometime and somewhere else, but cmon. Let’s stop with the “wait and see” with VK. Not trying to attack you but you’ve put the VK target on your back around here.
He has no body of work yet, while him going back to russia is on him i suppose him not getting training in north america comes with that. You have to forget his age, he's currently a rookie in this league no matter how old he is and should be judged like other rookies. There's still time for him, I'm not sure if it happens here or not, id prefer we keep him but I'm doubtful that happens, he's going to be a decent player still once he gets some strength and used to the north american game.
I agree, as said above it could still happen. 25 games over 3 stints to go back to a inferior league with more ice and not do any diligence in making yourself ready for the NHL? This is twice in his “inaugural” season hes hurt bad. He legit not even physically capable for the NHL.

And since I like to play devils advocate with myself, I know Chytil for example has had similar issues with injury, and until this year I was concerned. But he went somewhere productive and worked on it. I was cool with VK going home if it was best for him, but it so obviously was not. He sat around becoming a better KHL player and not getting ready for the NHL.

Even in the OZ they are not attacking the middle. Still too perimeter for the most part

This style is reminding me why we brought in Torts the last time. And why we brought in Keenan and Neilson. This team lacks the foundational style that will allow them to be contenders. It's partially about commitment and it's partially about system. If Gallant comes out and says, the guys played well, bad bounces, bla bla bla, he will fail to show an understanding of the core issues.
