KRAVTSOV WAS REALLY UNLUCKY THERE. HUSTLED AND GOT OUT MUSCLED BUT THE RESULT OF WHOLE SEQUENCE WAS NOT ABOUT BEING WEAK. WHICH HE SEEMS TO BE. IT WAS ONE OF THOSE FREAKISH THINGS THAT JUST HAPPENS.

He seemed to slip & lose his balance at the worst possible time.

If you lose la defensive battle, but it’s still a makeable save, then it’s on both D and G. Goalie doesn’t get absolved because of a defensive lapse.

If they don't start scoring at 5v5 that will be true, but so far with improved 5v5 shot metrics it's not as imperative that Igor is legendary.

Having just above average goaltending is exactly what this team needs in order to form good habits. Right now, their habits, their team play, their commitment in their own zone and slowing teams down in the neutral zone is utter trash. It's such chaos like 50% of the time. Our D is caught up ice half the time, and our 3 forwards are almost always caught up ice. That makes it easy sledding for opponents. It means great looks, it means rebounds, it means chaos and defensemen looking subpar. All these things are happening
