Ullmark has lost his last 4 games ( I included the loss to Finland in the 4 Nations Cup). He has lost his last 5 in a row if you count the Edmonton game where he got injured on December 22.

I wonder if he is still injured slightly?
If he pulls up lame in the next few games with a back issue then obviously his back still hasn't healed and he is still injured.

Or is it just rust?

I also predicted we would lose last night's game I said we would lose 4 to 2.

We all should have had 0 expectations to get any points out of this one .. 4L in a row went from 3rd in the Division to the 2nd WC spot with Columbus an eyelash from passing us and have a ton of cap space to add. This team will need our best players to elevate their games from here to the finish line and they will need to stay healthy.

We didn’t get pushed around lol. The Canadians are not physical.

I am not supportive of trades for short term gains; we need to take a long term approach to acquire players who will be good in the future (next 5 years) not just this season to make the playoffs. Dorion mucked things up by spending draft picks for short term improvement and screwed this team up.

I cannot disagree with you that he should have been playing physical before he did this. The whole team should have been playing better.
