Ha!Ha!Ha! You're not kidding. He cried about that not being called (I've never seen it called, ever) for a good 5 minutes after it happened. It is so transparent how he feels about the Penguins. Hell it took half the game for anyone to mention that the Penguins are playing without half their team and none of the announcers are talking about the Flyers only being able to score against our 3rd best goalie.

******** excellence in broadcasting.

No. That would be an elbowing penalty. And you can't try to check the goalie. Schenn didn't try to check Murray, he was attempting to make a scoring play and contact occured. My opinion is if a Pen did the same thing and had been called for interference I'd be pissed so I'd be a hypocrite to expect it to be a penalty on the Flyers.

I agree. I think defensively you have to stop him from cutting across the middle. If I'm the Pens I'm telling Sestito to take his pound of flesh and soften them up for the Caps. Even if we win I expect the Isles to tank to avoid playing the Pens in the first round anyway. For once we are in the position to not worry about winning and we have a guy who won't be on the team come playoff time. I'm thinking it is the best time for Sestito to show us what he's got. Flyers go nowhere without Simmons. Just Sayin:sarcasm:

If both Fleury and Murray can't start for the playoffs, then they should definitely consider calling up Jarry and have him play as our starter for the playoffs.

Why was Murray even playing today? Is Fleury a guarantee to be back for Game 1 of the playoffs?

If Zatkoff's the goalie, then it's going to be a quick series, no matter who the Penguins play. The guy just looks lost in net. I don't even know how he made it to the NHL with his style in net.

Team actually looks like they've stopped skating since The Great Zatsby came in.

The wingers are coming really deep to help cover for Zatkoff.

I'm not gonna feel too bad for a guy that's made about 1.5 million dollars in the past 3 years but Zatkoff's confidence must be as low as it can get. Loses the backup job to Greiss, loses the AHL starter job to Murray (a rookie), loses the NHL backup job to Murray (a rookie again), and now everything he touches turns to ****.

Ok forget the elbow. Just normal contact. You think a guy should be able to skate right into the goalie as long as he keeps possession of the puck? Seems like an awfully easy rule to exploit. I thought the whole point of the rule was that you're not allowed to do anything to impede the goalie's ability to make a save. Running into him, possession of the puck or not, sure seems like a way of impeding a goalie's ability to make a save to me.

He lost what little composure he had when he lost out to Greiss and then Murray happened.

Also Vokoun went down and Shero happened.

Hopefully Olczyk has a good cry and a stiff drink at intermission so he can forget about the Fehr non-call that shouldn't have been a penalty anyway.

If he doesn't, we'll probably hear about it another 3 or 4 times.

Wouldn't be surprised if Edzo doesn't come out for the 3rd. He'll be in the back dissecting this 2016 Zapruder film and show up on the post-game with printouts and a small 1:16 scale model of 'The Incident'.

I imagine some combination of Kunitz, Lovejoy and Power Play account for a number of playoff losses

He won't sit for Pouliot, but he might when Maatta returns.

Never thought I'd see the day I'd hope for a Cole-Schultz pairing.
