It was incidental contact and should not have been goaltender interference in my opinion. You disagree and that's fine.

I have said why the depth in crease is relevant. Schenn is allowed to be in the crease.

until he makes contact with the goalies head. At this point, Schenn's intentions are irrelevant. He was entirely in the goalie's crease, made no attempt to avoid contact (ever heard that phrase before?) and hit the goalie in the head.

This is a textbook penalty.
