Right, talent will win. And those teams are just as talented as we are.

The implication that the Rangers are the demonstrative best team and will win if they execute is way off base and setting yourself up for failure.

Colorado has been the most talented team in the league for awhile now and they have one Cup.
Since they won the cup they’ve lost 2 point per game players with grit in Kadri and Landeskog , among others, and become a one line team

Your top talent must perform. There's no way around that. Usually there's a key 3... maybe more.

We haven't had anyone go beast mode in the playoffs besides our goalies.

They had Kadri and Landeskog when they lost in the second round the year before.

Some of you guys live in a bubble.

"If the Rangers want it, the Rangers will win, and if the Rangers don't win, it's because the Rangers didn't want it."

We're not the center of the universe. 32 teams want to succeed and 31 teams fail.

Kadri was suspended

Nobody's arguing otherwise.

My point is, winning in 6 in the first round and losing in 7 in the second round, with Panarin having 23 points in 13 games is a plausible scenario.

And to the bolded, Zibanejad absolutely f***ing did in 2022 and we still needed 7 games in both of our series wins.

Fox was also PPG if I remember...

All people ever bring up is the game 7 gaffe that was 99% Kreider's fault, but yeah, Fox has 31 points in 30 playoff games.

Kreider also had like, what, 9 goals in that series?

The idea that we lost to the Devils because we just didn't perform is cope. We lost to a team that was better than us all of last year. I don't care what happened this year. In 2023, we lost that series to better team.

Because Zibs was dog 💩 the first 5 games against Pittsburgh. He was good in Carolina and disappeared after giving up the 2-0 to lead in game 3 against Tampa. Tbf the entire team disappeared

We need guys to carry and be consistent. If we can get that Zibs with Panarin, we have a chance

Yeah Fox has been ridiculous in the playoffs but somehow has gotten lumped into the "needs to perform in the playoffs" group

Devils were better but partly the Rangers just didn't really have a good answer to how to deal with their speed and attack. Coaches may or may not have a big impact but that was one series where it looked like the Rangers coaches failed them IMO

Kind of wish the Rangers were tomorrow with all the WC teams playing tonight at the same time.

It would be nice to finish off the President’s Trophy tonight, and then complete the double in June.

The only star that really needs to step up his game is Panarin.

Zibanejad had one great run and was kind of just normal last year. Kredier and Fox have phenomenal in the playoffs their whole careers.

It's just the usual suspects already making their bed with "if we lose it's because we didn't care."

You can smell the fear all over the thread. Not man enough to lose.

Yes, it would be nice if we were tomorrow, so I could just f***ing watch the WNBA draft today. This league is heartless.

Your stars need to lead the way. Panarin, Zibs, Fox and Shesty. They all need to play to their capabilities. Kreider will Kreider

That extends to Trocheck. He was horrible last year. Add Laffy and hopefully someone like Kakko or Cuylle can elevate.
