Bob does not want to give up the net, so I say play him. He can rest before the play-offs start, reportedly to be Weds. Our last game is Saturday, so that is plenty of down time before the first game.

Jeez, I gotta put up with this stupid ad playing every time I open a page?

Thx a million HF.

Sorry guys, looks like I'm going to Game 3 and 4.

They have yet to win a game this year I went to. (Home opener vs CGY, first and second NYR home games, home game vs STL (OTL), home game vs Sharks (OTL), The new years eve game vs Pittsburgh, and the home loss vs Carolina.)

Any way I can reverse this?

think you need to sacrifice a dead chicken, burn incense in front of a buddha shrine, & wear a garter belt.......................................

We had a two goal lead, but I didn't feel good until there were about 25 seconds left.

There was a faceoff in our zone with about 90 seconds left and I could picture the story of how we blew a 3-1 in the last minute and a half.

I was probably too nervous for the situation, but you never know with this team.

This is exactly how I felt.

After Phoenix scored with 14 seconds left or whatever it was I thought there was still time to give up another goal and lose in regulation.

I'm sure many felt the same way.

I was glad Dallas but some pressure on the Jackets and made them earn the win. Having that experience in a pressure situation and over coming it will pay off in the playoffs.

Just saw the highlights & Dubinsky interview on SNOhio aired on the hockey network.

He'll be named the Captain next year for sure.

It breaks the losing cycle mentally for sure. At least now they know they can do it.

I would play Mac the rest of the way. Maybe play Bob 1 period the last game to keep him fresh. Don't want to think about something happening to Bob those last 2 games.

Richards was just on 97.1, they said they are playing to move up in the standings. Said tonites Flyers-Tampa game will be important to them as to how they will play the goalies and others. He said ideally Bob would rest one game, but the goal is get a better seed.

Thanks for the clarification. Although I'm not sure playing Bob 5 in 7 days is the best way to shoot for that #3 seed. I know where he is coming from, however. Bob has tended to crack a little on too heavy of workloads this season (at least that is the memory I have right now); although he did play well through this 3 in 4. Perhaps Bob has adjusted and it's not a concern.

I have confidence enough in McBackup to run him out there and give us a chance to win. I would also like to get him some work before the playoffs start.

Concur on McE. I figure we could get away with playing him vs. Florida - TB's still playing for position (much like we are), while Florida is largely playing for spoiler opportunities and self-respect.
