We play the way we do the last couple of games, we beat this team.

My only gripe is that we need to get the PP going again but all PP's run hot and cold.
It's Zibs not hitting his shots and mostly Kreider problems right now

Trocheck and Laffy are really due. Tro hit a few posts. Laffy had a beautiful deflection and backhand chance.

The puck will start going in for that line. It's amazing how Panarin didn't have 2-3pts last night.

Panarin has to start shooting on the PP. or Fox. There needs to be a threat other than Mika to shoot so they can't cheat towards him

That line has looked great, only a matter of time before those posts and cross bars are in the back of the net.

Regarding the PP, teams cover the cross ice seam from Panarin to Mika HARD, meaning Fox is the one setting up Mika from the point. Goalies don't have to move nearly as much from that type of set up (high-low vs east-west), giving Mika a much smaller window to fit the puck in. CK needs to set some screens for Panarin to shoot, or move the puck down low behind the net, with quick passes to Trocek for slot one timers (let Panarin or Mika do those passes as CK will end up giving the PK 2 on 1 ones with passes in the skates). This will help open up that cross ice seam for Panarin to hit Mika, or Mika to hit CK.

Fully expect whoever is in net for the Isles to put up a Vezina performance. Georgiev has been average, at best, for the Avs, yet plays out of his mind last night. Tarasov was a brick wall against us, yet last night, he was a sieve.

Yes, Kreider was bad last night, but, for the most part, the team played pretty well. Even the Hajek haters didn't have much to whine about.
