Hornqvist might be his ideal other winger. GCS working for awhile taught a bad lesson, imo. He’s better when he’s with a winger who does the heavy lifting physically.

The problem, as I noted earlier, is that sometimes Horny stops doing the heavy lifting and goes to the net at effectively screams 'look, I'm open'.

It's why HGH stopped working. It stopped being about Horny doing the dirty work to get Geno the puck and started being about Geno working to get Horny the puck in front of the net.

Any smart team IN the playoffs will kill the Pens PP just as aggressively. The Pens don't move or support much.
the only thing I would say, Ihad seen them in the past moving the puck and moving themselves around really effectively, I always thought that was more question of effort and will

Our fans love to **** on our powerplay.

I think some fans are still stuck on Gonchar’s umbrella or something. I really have no other explanation as to why they think there is some fatal flaw every year..

Imagine how miserable this place would be if the team was truly bad.
What a waste of space on this board. all the world needs another condesending, I am smarter than anyone else person, this board is not miserable place, people discussing a subpar performance of a team that has potential to be great, nothing less nothing more

I mean, the fatal flaw is that Crosby and Malkin are insanely passive and we added an even more passive player in Kessel.

But, at worst it is a top ten power play.

How is tonight subpar? Montreal got a fluke goal and a PP goal.

I think for whatever reason Sheary rides that out better than others. Maybe because he’s a winger, maybe because he can be elusive enough to work in those areas for a stretch.

nah, it'd be better because it'd be emptier.

Ignore lists only do so much.
