I'd like to see Murray sharpen up his game a bit but that's pretty much a perfect shot. Sometimes the other team just makes a nice play.

As I said the other night. Murray is the biggest disappointment on the team this year. Easily. How many years did MAF have numbers like this at the end of the year, with a quality start % of 42 and get a pass on these boards? I'll save you the trouble. He never did. He was roasted, with vile crap thrown around daily. Letang is right there with MM, but the biggest regression in play from last year to this has been Murray, period.

Well, it's just that people were saying the same about Sid a few times this year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there had been injuries there. Kessel could be healthy now but knocked off his rhythm or in full float mode until the playoffs.

I think people misunderstand my point. Not saying he was bad on that one, I am saying he needs to start challenging shooters again. He played that one too deep. He is afraid to get in trafic and challenge.

I don't have a problem with that goal specifically but we just need some big starts from him. If he's gonna let up 3+ goals every time out we're not long for the playoffs.

And yes some of that is on the team to tighten things up. No doubt. But we need Matt to dominate like he can. Our d isn't any shakier than it has ever been here. He's too good to play like this.

If murray has a few years like this..he will get the same treatment.

Most are hoping/expecting he returns to form after going thru alot of adversity these past few months. He did start the year off slow, but so did the whole team. He was playing great before getting that concussion.

Its been an up and down year for the whole team.

But yeah, we are going to need him to be better
