They looked like they couldn't decide what to do with that in front of the net.

So they call trips that aren’t trips. But blatant interference is a no go? Man I hope we don’t get stuck with these refs in the playoffs
Anything goes in the playoffs, especially if your name on the back is Weber. Then you can blatantly cross check an opponent not having the puck, not being in front of the crease and it's no problem. It's easier if you think of them as game managers than actual, legitimate refs. The book of rules is just for show, it's more like guidelines really.

Kind of think we are getting our chances here, and Boston happened to score on 2 of their 3. How it falls sometimes.

I don't think Motte is coming back anytime soon. He's not even in the conversation with Kakko, Copp and Chytil

I believe it's this:

A check from behind is a check delivered on a player who is not aware of the impending hit, therefore unable to protect or defend himself, and contact is made on the back part of the body. When a player intentionally turns his body to create contact with his back, no penalty shall be assessed.

This link was from 2014, so I don't know if it's since been updated. Guessing they thought Fox turned intentionally?
By that definition, that was a clear penalty.

I don't know if I can make it through playing the Caps again.

I've seen it so many f***ing times and it's all the same players. The Caps have had the same core since the lockout.

Just watch game 7 and skip the first six, you know that will be the end game anyways.

I can't tell who's the Vezina favorite in this game. Not a bad game by Shesterkin but when Ullmark is not allowing anything you can't allow that goal he allowed to Hall. Pretty much ended the game right there.
