4/5/14 Latest Episode:
LA King Jarret Stall mentioned that he felt horrible about ignoring Dwight during his celebration in Vancouver after scoring the OT goal. J̶a̶r̶e̶d̶...J̶a̶r̶r̶e̶t̶t̶ Jarret said that he was in such disbelief that the puck hit the back of the net instead of going wide and into the nosebleeds...that he just forgot about him. Can't really blame him, we were just as surprised. Dwight had no comment and refused to be a part of this episode.

Meanwhile, defenseman Drew D̶o̶t̶y̶ Doughty said that Dwight was being too sensitive, because, come on. He's Drew D̶o̶t̶y̶ Doughty. Everyone was going to want to hug and celebrate with him first. Doughty first, Doughty second, and Doty third.

Preseason games are so hard to predict. Play the kids a lot and rest the vets. Sit Doughty and Mitchell
 
Am I remembering wrong or Vancouver was actually doing alright and was in playoff picture until that "moral victory"?

It was the beginning of the end for the Canucks. I live in Van and the local sports radio the next day was nauseating! They were calling it a turning point in their season where they finally stood up for each other against the big bad Kings and that things were going to be different going forward. The way things turned out, it was a turning point, just not the one they had in mind.

Was interested in picking up tickets for tonight's game as they're on the cheap, at least for Vancouver standards. Just have a feeling both teams are going to mail it in.
 
Don't care if we lose 8-0. Just no injuries. Guys like Brown and Nolan can't be stupid either, don't give those clowns any reason to throw cheap shots.

Before the "moral victory", the Canucks were two points behind the Kings for third place, four points clear of Minnesota for the top wildcard spot, and would have moved ahead of the Kings into the divisional spot had they won that game on 1/13/14.

Oh god, I remember that. It was brutal. The old, "We lost the war, but we won the battle" saying.

Believe it or not, those clowns don't need a reason for cheap shots. They're a dirty team with nothing to lose. This is why I'd be concerned about our boys tonight.

This method helps nearly all of us on the board predict what Sutter will play:
1.) Write down the current roster of the team on strips of paper.
2.) put all the names in an empty bowl.
3.) drop some ice cubes in a blender and add your favorite fruits
4.) empty the bowl of names in the blender and start blending

when done you will have a nice delicious smoothy and have an idea of the line ups and who's playing

What about Brown? Oh sorry, Brown threads get started even when the Kings don't play, so you can expect about 3 or 4 started by Canucks fans tonight. He can spit water and people would start a thread about how dirty & classless it was of Brown to spit water due to the worlds water shortage.
