God I ****ing love Sutter with the media

On Drew Doughty’s status:
He’s day-to-day. We have lots of guys who are day-to-day. [Reporter: So does that make him a game-time decision for tonight?] That makes it none of your business. That’s a fact. Why do you want to act that question in April? You could ask it in October and you’d get the same answer. So why would you ask it in April?

On Dwight King’s status:
He’s day-to-day. You know what? We don’t play ‘til Wednesday or Thuesday, and we just finished 10-in-17. You know what? We’ll try and get everybody ready for Wednesday.

i just read this and was laughing. i was going to post it also so people could see it.

DS is funny without trying to be, at least to me. he's got got that dry, straight delivery that so often is just hilarious

****! I just realized that we San Diego fans of the Kings are screwed tonight -- we don't get Prime, and Fox Sports San Diego isn't picking up the feed like they sometimes do. *grumble grumble grumble*

Check center ice, it's working for me here in SD. Free!

Someone must've told a real funny joke as the guy were walking out on the ice because everyone was laughing pretty good.

Oh man, just saw this on the main board:

"The Utica Comets (Canucks farm team) were up 5-2 with 1:39 remaining and on the powerplay against the Syracuse Crunch.

They gave up three shorthanded goals and then lost in overtime."

Ouch.

The organization is consistent, I'll give them that much.

Found this funny:

Manchester ‪#‎Monarchs‬ Andrew Campbell was well into his pre-game routine yesterday as he napped in advance of the team’s game against the Hartford ‪#‎WolfPack‬. His phone was on silent mode.
After he missed five phone calls from team management, an assistant trainer paid a house visit and banged on his apartment door to wake the lanky defenseman from his slumber. He was a bearer of good news. Campbell was receiving a call-up to the ‪#‎LAKings‬.
“So that was a good wake up,†said Campbell, who flew through Montreal and arrived in Vancouver at 11:00 p.m. last night.
Campbell was selected in the third round in 2008 and is a six-year pro who has played all 444 of his professional regular season and playoff games with the Monarchs. He was called up early last season and practiced with the team but did not get into a game as Keaton Ellerby was acquired soon after his recall.
“I have a great support group at home of friends and family. They’ve always been there for me and they always keep me positive and tell me to keep pushing forward. It’s a huge credit to them as well.â€

My boss is friends with Andrew Campbell's mother. I'm sure I'll hear a recap of his conversation with her this weekend when I get into work on Monday morning. Very happy for Andrew.
