It will still be hard to stay in the Atlantic Bracket for the playoffs

If Boston goes 2-1-0 to finish at 96 points

We'd need 1 of Toronto or Ottawa to Finish the season at best 2-2-1 to stay in the Atlantic

That's not as impossible as it sounds. Ottawa has won only 2 games in their last 10 , they have lost Methot and Ceci with Karlsson on the mend. I think it can be done.

Toronto is playing 5 games in 7 nights this week, against some pretty tough teams.

I'm surprised they haven't changed that goal to Chara. and Pretty sure I read that Spooner came back to the bench said he never touched the puck.

Then again, maybe Chara just let him have it.

Yes, I posted that on the GDT, that's what they were saying on the TVA feed, but they've been wrong before.

There is often debate on this site about a goalie "stealing a game". Some posters are pretty liberal with the phrase. Today was a clear example of stealing a game by Dobby.

Kuraly had more ice time than Spooner, Stafford or Belesky.

Moore, Nash and Acciari had more ice time than Krejci & Pasta.
Definitely deserved. The 4th line has been the Bruins' 2nd best line for a while. The middle 6 need to pick it up.

Spooner could use all the charity he can get but to me on the replay on NHL.com looks like Spooner may get a piece of it with his stick...changes directions. It is really hard to tell though.

Either way I'll take it

Just got back from the game (8th row, baby). Khudobin was standing on his head in the 3rd. Gutty road win that is huge for our playoff chances. I love the way that Moore-Nash-Acciari line plays.

Almost got the puck when C Miller took that delay of game penalty. Landed in the seat right in front of my son.

Bergeron was 6/6 on D-zone draws vs. Toews in the 3rd, including those 4 key ones in crunch time.

The TVA guys are watching on a monitor in Montreal.

Pierre Maguire said he asked Spooner if he touched it and Spooner said it bounced in front of his stick. From the speed of that shot, it would seem if it were tipped it wouldn't make it to the back of the net.

Yeah, it doesn't matter to me. It is hard to tell from the replay.

The Bs have won 5 in a row and my SCF prediction is Bs 4 Hawks 3.

I looked at that Spooner goal a few times between periods, and it sure looked like it glanced off his stick, although it was very hard to tell for sure.

The main thing is that it went into the net, and the B's get 2 big points today.

There will be plenty of upset people when K.Miller is protected in the expansion draft over C.Miller.

Agree

Although McQuaid may be the one but Colin Miller is not being protected is my guess

So I was watching the game from work and I happened to look up just as they were showing the replay of the KMiller goal. I saw the '8' and I thought, typical Pasta with the laser

A 4 point weekend- it doesn't get any better than that.

They got 0 out of Toronto & Ottawa.

They got 4 out of Florida & Chicago.

They played their best 2 games against Toronto & Ottawa

That was a huge win today, and while it may not have always been pretty, they've responded to losing 4 in a row by winning 5 in a row. Can't really complain about that at all. Sure it could have been easier, but that's what you get when you have a team like the Bruins with obvious holes and glaring needs. Either way, I'm happy to not have to listen to BS excuses like it was the second day of back to back games and how they've run into hot goalies. Instead of that, they scrapped their way to a W against a team pretty much every armchair expert had penciled in as a loss. Good times. Good times.
