I couldn’t get past the diabetes depiction lol. It was so unbelievably inaccurateWhy?
It was soo cheesy good
Put Barzal in a different system and he would be a beast. Laviolette would be the perfect coach for him
I never said it was about offensive stats. There are many Islander fans who think he is overrated, has a low hockey IQ, and is lazy on the defensive side. FWIW he is a -13 plus/minus and plays PP1 minutes and only has 52 total points. I would take him on my team any day over Strome but lets not make it seem like he has this great overall game. While i agree that Barzal is overrated, he still does the little things like winning faceoffs, not taking bad penalties and yes barzal plays a much stronger two way game and is better than Strome in those areas. Im not trying to knock anyone but when you are comparing the players its not just about offensive stats.
I hate the Islanders but Trotz is a good coach. He did win the cup and he did just go to 2 straight conference finals. He generally gets the most out of the talent on the roster.

I heard he had a neck injury that required surgery and they accidentally sewed him up with the neck brace on the inside.I heard a rumor that Trotz uses Botox on his neck to keep it thick and tight.
And that he saw the meetup on the 29th and plans to attend.
P.A. Parenteau hat trick incoming...
A different take then the league and refs have it in for the Rangers.Look for the Isles to do everything they can to cheap shot and hurt guys as per usual while the refs allow it due to their rep for being a physical team.
Barzal is wayyyyyy better than Strome. The problem is that Trotz has Barzal in chains. If Barzal was playing with a different coach and players, I bellieve he's a 90 point player. For all the crap Strome gets, and I know he plays with Panarin, Barzal is not that much better than him, yet he’s a “star” to many.
Run their goalie first shift LMAO....if that don't get them off their game then line brawl at the start of the 2nd period . Make at least one game with the Fishsticks entertaining for us . We have some big boy.....let's send a message to the rest of the NHL we mean business . LOL.....maybe just play a hard hitting game and keep our heads on a swivel....Best way to avoid cheapshots and injuries is to come out hitting. Treat this as a dress rehearsal for game 1 of the POs. You know the piles have nothing to look forward to but this game so they sure AF will treat this like the biggest game of the year. Match and exceed that intensity and get that W.
line brawl? oh man lets go!Run their goalie first shift LMAO....if that don't get them off their game then line brawl at the start of the 2nd period . Maybe Gallant and Trotz...although Gallant clearly the advantage thereline brawl? oh man lets go!
Dino Lou is not going to start a rebuild. Maybe Varly and Bailey get moved(and they should be) but they do have expensive contracts so not sure what the return would be. I also think it's hard for them to sign top FA's and there is no way Gaudreau is going to wind up on Long Island. Personally I hope they bring back the same lineup.Trotz isnt the problem in LI, its Lou. And judging by the Parise & Clutterbuck extensions, he hasnt learned his lesson. They need to move Varlamov & Bailey' contracts and make a run at Forsberg or Gaudreau to play with Barzal. Tall task to get those guys to sign long-term, but that's how they get themselves back in the playoff mix next year imo

SCRAP the TRAP!I remember looking forward to Rangers vs Islanders....
now it feels like an obligation... The faster they get rid of this type of hockey, the better.
