The team is clicking on basically almost all cylinders right now. Just hope Fox gets going a bit more, he's looked a bit off for like 20 games or so now.

Fox has been fine, he's a high risk high reward dman, you have to live with the bad to get the good. I think people are hyperfocused on him and any little slip up is magnified.

Great seeing Copp thriving with you.

Have a great night with no injuries.

Off to watch my Canucks try to claw back into the Playoff race.

Cheers

Bill Pidto working on a consecutive broadcast streak, too.

Firing on all cylinders

I just don't even really know what the islanders were doing...they have some talent on that team, they have some good players, but going all in on over the hill vets so that they have to run an extremely defensive system because they didn't actually compliment the young talent they have...it's just crap what Lou has done with that team, just crap. People talk about "oh they made it to the conference finals" well it was a covid shortened year and over a full season you're not going to be able to keep performing at the level needed, plus their old guys another year older doesn't help

with some smart moves they could be a lot more dangerous than they are

They're choking out the offense to play beyond their roster's talent. It worked in the last 2 years but it's catching up. Barzal is shook. Lee and Nelson are as good as they're going to be. Wahlstrom is being scratched. It's a good strategy post Tavares. You'd rather use up your life force to try and win like they did instead of just be middling.
