Since we're once again bringing up "ANALyTics" unprovoked, you should all know that Panarin has made quite a recovery since being put on a line that doesn't suck.

Don't be deceived. A month ago, this chart was so red it looked like a cardinal got roadkilled by a dump truck.

As I've said in regards to Lafreniere, being put on lines that don't suck literally always works.

It's ridiculous that Panarin either knows where to be for the puck or the puck just follows him. It's as magnetic as I've ever seen with any player.
He is playing absolutely transcendent hockey right now. You can watch any player in the world right now and you would be hard pressed to find a player who is at his level of deception, vision and awareness. It's beyond special to witness and we are all very very lucky that he wanted to be a Ranger.

Panarin is on fire, he’s so strong on the puck and is a puckhound without it. He might be one of the best puck handlers and strongest p4p player for his size the way he holds off multiple defenders to find an open seam

Someone finally convinced Panarin that playing with actual top 6 talent is better than trying to suck the white part off the watermelon rind playing with Dryden Hunt and Colin Blackwell.
