You know what? Tampa too.

They stink.

Hedman is just taller Trouba at this point.

I know it's an unpopular take, but we've outplayed them 7.5 out of 9 periods this year, and then Point went on a bender.

The only way we lose to any of the dreck in the first round is if Panarin doesn't do any scoring.
Hedman slowed down for sure but he’s about what Trouba was when he got here. Trouba now moves like he has 50lbs dumbbells duct taped to his skates

Lav read the boards and realized he was an idiot for giving Brodzinski a get of jail free card.
All the hate Brodz gets should be directed towards Mika

Goodrow should sit. I don't know why he continues to play. KK and Ros can both kill penalties and probably would do it better than Goodrow.

Sitting Jones is also really frustrating. He is better than like half our D at this point.

Overall I hate Lavy a lot less than other coaches so I don't want to get too picky. If we had Gallant here Laf would prob be stapled to the 3rd line with 8 minutes a night, KK would be traded and Bonino and Pitlick would prob be getting 15+ minutes a night. But still damn frustrating.

There has to be more to your perception of player performance than these figures.
Brodzinski is a good player. He should just be playing in the Goodrow role and everyone would love him.

Rempe is exciting and all but has very little impact on the game in his 5 minutes a night.

I think Mika has been that bad and worse than the EV chart indicates.

Brodz on the other hand is in the bottom6 and makes near league minimum and is a 12/13F.

It shouldn't even be remotely close. The point is there are much bigger and blatant issues. Brodz playing over Rempe ( or rotating players on the 4th line ) will not define this teams success.

Rempe is going to have to fight MacDermid tonight - hopefully he tunes Kurtis up. That would be the most hilarious outcome after the whole to-do about everything.

KURTIS MACDERMID: AN ENFORCER DRIVEN MAD

NEW YORK, NY - In their previous meeting Rempe defied expectations by eschewing MacDermid's challenge to a physical showdown. Instead, he opted for a different kind of confrontation, delivering a punishing blow to Jonas Siegenthaler that left the Devils reeling. MacDermid, consumed by rage, attempted to confront Rempe, only to be thwarted by the intervention of the referees. In a moment of cruel taunting, Rempe waved provocatively at MacDermid, goading him like a puppeteer manipulating his marionette. The sight of Rempe sent him into a frenzy, his obsession reaching fever pitch as he foamed at the mouth in impotent fury.

As the weeks passed and anticipation for the rematch between the Rangers and the Devils grew, MacDermid's fixation on Rempe reached new heights. Rempe was his only shot at relevance for his career that was hanging on by a thread. His wife, in a futile attempt to provide some semblance of normalcy, would make him a morning latte adorned with artistic foam designs. However, MacDermid's mind played cruel tricks on him, as he hallucinated seeing Rempe's face in the foam, leading him to hurl the mug across the room in a fit of blind rage.

His domestic sanctuary became a labyrinth of torment, in the dead of night as he rose to relieve himself, he found himself haunted by the specter of a tall shadowy figure lurking in the darkness—a figure that bore an eerie resemblance to Rempe himself. His TikTok & Instagram feeds became a bizarre menagerie of Rempe-related content, while even the simplest act of watching television became torturous as every image seemed to morph into Rempe's visage.

But it's not just at home where MacDermid's fixation manifests itself. Every time he saw someone on the streets waving to somebody else, he had flashbacks to Rempe taunting him with the wave. Everywhere he turns, he's met with reminders of his nemesis. Whenever he walked by the Empire State Building he was reminded of the Rempe memes, he even hallucinated and saw Rempe climbing the building with airplanes in the grasp of his hand like something out of King Kong. Fans taunt him mercilessly, chanting "REMPE! REMPE!" wherever he goes, MacDermid resorted to wearing one of those novelty disguises with the glasses & nose whenever he had to go in the public eye. Ranger fans snapped a photo of him in disguise and it circulated on social media and only made the humiliation worse. MacDermid became a hermit, the walls were closing in as he refused to leave his house for weeks.

Finally, the long-awaited showdown arrived, and Madison Square Garden crackled with anticipation as the Rangers and the Devils took to the ice. In a climactic battle that seemed destined from the start, Rempe emerged victorious, besting MacDermid in a physical altercation that left the Devils' enforcer battered and bruised.

How long have the Debbie's been playing Jack Hughes on the wing. I thought he was a natural center.

And to be fair to Brodzinski, this is the chart of a serviceable NHL bottom sixer. Mika should not be that.

Nobody is saying not, but I don't think it's unfair to say that a player with Mika's reputation and price tag shouldn't be producing anything that looks like Brodzinski.
