Did you really think it was a routine save? He didn't lift it but he got there in a hurry. Usually on saves like that it's because the shooter didn't lift it.

Eh, it happens but it's still a very good save even without the puck being lifted. Most non goals are due to imperfection by the shooter.

Ben Harpur is a big man that doesn’t play big. He doesn’t use his 6 foot 6 , 230 lb frame to hold off attacking forwards or move opposing teams players from planting themselves in front of our goalies. He can’t carry the puck and when he has the puck he looks to get rid of it as quick as possible. His d partner doesn’t have the option of passing the puck to Harpur when he’s under pressure. As bad as Hajek was this season, Libor is still a much better option than Harpur. If Gordon Murphy believes Harpur is his best choice with Jones/Hajek in Hartford then Murphy needs to go.
