not hard to see this kinda effort coming on a back to back after an emotional game like last night and having to travel. still doesn't make it any easier to watch.

kids are on their own for any chance to win. 4th line has at least gotten pucks into buf zone. top 6 have been legitimate misery on ice. can't win a puck battle, can't catch a pass, can't make a pass, can't control a loose puck, can't get out of their zone....like i said expected a rough one tonight and not gonna worry about it, but holy sht they're like the keystone cops out there tonight. i've never seen 6 forwards so collectively terrible at hockey on the same team in an nhl game. they could make a blooper video out of the first 2 periods alone. would be nice if at least 1 or 2 show up for the 3rd but not getting my hopes up. and given fil's miss in the 1st and just their general trend, i can't see the kid line completely taking over a game and winning it the way they'd need to. oh well. on to whoever.

Ben Harpur is a big man that doesn’t play big. He doesn’t use his 6 foot 6 , 230 lb frame to hold off attacking forwards or move opposing teams players from planting themselves in front of our goalies. He can’t carry the puck and when he has the puck he looks to get rid of it as quick as possible. His d partner doesn’t have the option of passing the puck to Harpur when he’s under pressure. As bad as Hajek was this season, Libor is still a much better option than Harpur. If Gordon Murphy believes Harpur is his best choice with Jones/Hajek in Hartford then Murphy needs to go.

ANYONE in Hartford would be better than Harpur

We could really use a Messier in the locker room

a lot of players may not be here though

The way they track giveaways and takeaways is ridiculous, can't really take those numbers at face value.

yea i've looked at it from time to time when panarin has one of his nights i'm positive he had no less than 23 turnovers and they'll have him at like 3. no idea what they count as a turnover but there's usually several to a sht ton more than the stat sheet has.

Buffalo is a good team. They beat Carolina. Even good teams lose sometimes. Did you see Boston lose the other night? Any team can beat any other team on a given night. Rangers are on a b2b after an emotional game also.

Sincerely,
Puckluck
