Yes exactly, right now. I think Beleskey SHOULD be the better player. He had that one good game, otherwise I've barely notice him when he's in the line up. Hayes isn't great, but at least he sticks his body in and around the net. Really doesn't do much, but sometimes fires the puck in front, or takes it to the net unsuccessfully. Looks marginally better under Cassidy.

True no doubt about it hayes has been better than beleskey this yr and that is very sad but I am still hopeful beleskey can pick it up some I know he isn't going to even be last yr guy but still.

At this point in the Season, this is a huge win against a team that's been playing well as of late and is fighting for Playoff positioning. :handclap:

The issue with Spooner is he has crap for linemates. No Stafford and Hayes are not quality players for a 3rd line.

I thought spooner was ok tonight and I am not knocking him you just get sick of hearing a bunch of crap time and time again . kmiller sucks cmiller should play 30 minutes great morrow is bobby orr Mcquaid is horrid ----you cant have him and kevan dress together and win but if we dress chiller and morrow together look out league .

I actually like c.miller and I think spooner is ok but you just hear the above paragraph over and over and over

Great example after islander game k.miller was awesome one of his best bruin games yet people come on here saying how great chiller played when I really didn't think it was one of his better games .

This is how you know some people have gone completely off the deep end in regards to Rask criticisms.

Goals he has no shot on are now seen as own goals thrown into the net by Tuukka.

I've been accused of being a Rask basher myself because I can be pretty hard on the higher paid athletes when they aren't playing up to their potential, although I am also capable of seeing both sides of the coin and will give credit when credit is due.

...and tonight I give Rask credit for playing a solid game even if he wasn't pressured too much. He played up to his potential tonight, and that was much needed and good to see.

The whole team looked good tonight for most of the game, and I'm hopeful they continue to play this way for the remainder of the season and into the playoffs.

We never do the shaving cream in the face. Looks like it's getting a bit fun in that locker room!

Big win. Huge win. Noel's best game as a Bruins.

Glad to see them having fun. That can't be a bad thing this time of year.

Glad to see Acciari get a goal. Now he just needs to teach the rest of the team how to hit!

Spooner can't be the best player on his line, he's not good enough to carry the play 5 on 5. Stafford is good enough for a 3rd line.

Can't have anymore games like that Tampa game . Tonight was a huge win against a team that was totally capable of beating us . I don't expect the Bruins to win games like tonight , just give it all you've got and let the chips fall where they may .

He's giving the younger players confidence by what he says and how he uses them. Spooner playing on the penalty kill? With Claude never. All the players young and old look to be engaged and playing with creativity. Play time doesn't matter at this point. It's an amazing and long overdue welcome change.

I miss Claude as much as I miss getting a root canal.

This is a different, more upbeat and more offensive minded team under Cassidy, and also more fun to watch as a fan....(especially when they're winning).

If they can just limit their mistakes in the defensive zone, be more physical in their own end, and get solid goaltending, I think they are headed in the right direction.

Just in...It was a rainy drive home but it seemed short....better than snow.

I thought the first period was one of the best the B's played all year.

Tuukka played well. IMO after seeing him up close I have no doubt he is playing with an injury.

PK was excellent. Dom Moore is such a good player for the B's.

Pasta had a fantastic game.

Happy to see Noel A. get his first NHL goal. Krejci's goal was pretty.

Let's do it again on Thurs !

Any idea exactly where Rask might be hurting ? I cant imagine how great Pasta would've looked live tonight lol I also totally agree with you , the bruins 1st was basically flawless.

THankyou for these videos . I always look forward to them . I have NHL tv which has no post game coverage so I look forward to these .

My pleasure. I know it is frustrating for out of market fans and NESN.com does a terrible job with their website.

The most encouraging thing for me is that the Bs have been able to bounce back after the losing streak and win two games. Both games were against hungry teams, with Nashville having won a ton of games over the past couple weeks. It doesn't appear that the history of the past two years is going to repeat itself in terms of a total meltdown.

Also, it's cool to see the defense really lock down the past two games after looking disorganized and crappy before that. That takes a lot of pressure off the goalies.

Yes, the ship looked like it was sinking after that loss to Tampa Bay . They really should get the next two . The Leafs face some stiff opposition the rest of the way and while the Bruins schedule isn't necessarily easy either , they have a real chance to get that 3rd spot in the division and after losing 4 games in a row at such a critical time that's about all we can ask for .

Tonight was important as Nashville does not want to play Chicago in the first round and would rather take a chance with a reeling Minnesota team. Now comes the Bruins trap game - Dallas. The Stars are easily the biggest disappointment in the NHL this year and I can't see Ruff surviving. We know one member of the Stars has had this date circled all year and he would love to burn us.

I am really not worried about the Bruins making the playoffs but I think they have to finish A3. A first round matchup with Washington is not a great option and I think the B's have a better shot against Ottawa even though we haven't beaten them this year either. Washington has been a problem for the Bruins for 5 years now :help:
