I'd take minimum 2 goalies this year maybe even 3. While this year's top 20 is better than last year's, it evens out after that. 2022's draft, I felt we could get solid prospects straight through top 100 prospects (early 4th round). This year, maybe top 75 - mid 3rd.

Last year for my, "guys we should definitely look at in 4-7 rounds" list, I easily had 12-16 names. This year I'm struggling to get half of that. The ones I do have half of them are goalies too. Lol

There's a couple of Russian goalies I like, so take one in 7th round, who maybe comes over in 3-4 years. Take an overager like Suchanek or Milic and give them an AHLC like Vrbetic. Take a really good prospect like Fowler, Bjarnason etc.

Get some goalie depth in the organization.

One thing I learned over the last few years is not many goalies can be top 10 value for 5 years in a row. We got spoiled with Price.

I think we may have to do what Sakic has done. 1-3 year cycles until you find someone you really like and trust and you have him for his prime.

I think our goalie search will continue on for years. Best to assemble a strong team or forwards and defense and wait for the right circumstance on the goalie. Until, then, draft them

I doubt many teams have drafted many goalies in same draft. I would draft 1 a yr, sometimes early, sometimes later. They did that for last 4yrs so all is good. Maybe they didnt do that earlier because of Price. Drafted 2 next 7 drafts after him late in rounds 4 and 7. Missed on Fucale. Picked one in 6th and 7th next 5 yrs hence the hole now.
