And maybe another one in round 4 or 5.
I'd take minimum 2 goalies this year maybe even 3. While this year's top 20 is better than last year's, it evens out after that. 2022's draft, I felt we could get solid prospects straight through top 100 prospects (early 4th round). This year, maybe top 75 - mid 3rd.
Last year for my, "guys we should definitely look at in 4-7 rounds" list, I easily had 12-16 names. This year I'm struggling to get half of that. The ones I do have half of them are goalies too. Lol
There's a couple of Russian goalies I like, so take one in 7th round, who maybe comes over in 3-4 years. Take an overager like Suchanek or Milic and give them an AHLC like Vrbetic. Take a really good prospect like Fowler, Bjarnason etc.
Get some goalie depth in the organization.
