bad puck luck tonight, but that's no excuse for the way we stopped playing after a great 2nd period.

OK the Boll lovers got to see #40 for a home game, now lets quick ****ing around get Umberger back on the ice.

Alright I lied, I can't be done for the night when I read this ****. I used to play defence, and I have a hard time figuring out what you're blaming Jack for. When you are a defenceman playing in front of your goalie, sometimes pucks will go in off you.

True... but if there was no defensman at all Bob could have made the save.. Get into the shooters face as they do in basketball, don't stand around waiting and watching for a shot from within the wheelhouse....

Buf beats NJ in the shootout. Buf got the bounces in their favour. NJ had like 3 to 4 chances to win the game. They remain 3 points back and not 2 which is huge.

But then Toronto is right behind us now by 1 point (or 1 and a half due to tiebreaker)

It's almost like no one remembers seemingly every puck in the vicinity of Marc Methot going into the net. Off his leg, off his stick, off his left skate, off his right skate....I remember one time he kicked at a shot that would have gone wide, and it went off him and into the net.

Foligno was right where he was supposed to have been... For the Avs redirect play lol
I'd like to see you react to that in time, sure he was 15 feet away, but he had no time to move. **** happens.

I know people like to have scapegoats, but this loss was not the fault of one or both of JJ and Foligno. It was the whole team.

Going back to the ******* Arniel style of holding a lead, which is ****ing stupid, but still, the Avs could not have been ANY luckier than they were tonight.

As I've maintained before, though, this team isn't comfortable unless it is uncomfortable. #CBJ

Disappointing loss. Just as I was thinking they were playing a real good game the Ave took over. It seemed to me like they lost intensity especially defensively as the game wore on. Cplorado seems ed to get stronger. Combination killed us.

Well a point is a point, as Ty would say. These guys are gonna make us sweat right down to the wire.

That is absurd, Robert. If there was no defenseman there at all, it would have been a SURE goal. You're telling me you'd rather have nobody in front of the net? JJ played that EXACTLY how any defenseman is told to play that, he just got unlucky.

This. Especially Foligno. Thought he played great all game.

Yes. That's how you're taught to play on the 5 on 3. Wish people would realize it.

Blame Jack for the penalty all you want, that was an absurd turnover at a critical point of the game. But that goal isn't his fault. **** happens

There are not many words to express how disappointing this loss is.

After having a period like we did in the 2nd, it's near unfathomable how we managed to lose. Honestly, I have no problem with the guys who the goals deflected in off of, it happens. But wake up and don't try to hold a 2-0 lead on one of the best teams in the west. For me, this loss is on Coach Richards more than anything for allowing the team to get so passive. It just can't happen.

Oh, and powerplay in the 3rd period, great passing, but it would really be OK with us if you got a puck to the net once in a while.

Richards seems okay with the result and doesn't seem upset.

Loser mentality.

How can you say that MF.... he didn't appear happy to me..

A head coach must be level headed even in defeat, if anything he needs to address the subject of how to put away a team when in the lead in the NHL.

One more thing, please figure out how to win at home again, we've seen nothing but losing hockey at Nationwide for 5 out of the past 6 outings. And we wonder why there attendance issues. Wake up.
