And there was a time when we took a lead into the third it locked up. We're throwing points away.

Wow, I make my first post here about how well they are playing and they proceed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... I should just walk away before I begin lol

Nah, I picked the Avs to win before the game started... The Jackets did well getting a point, I'm most concerned about their inability to hold leads and shut down games... That is the real issue and something the coaching staff must address.

For some reason the CBJ think the game is over when they have a two goal lead... part is player mental but part is coaching too.

Can someone roll out the jump to conclusion mat? The team played hard the whole game. This isn't the kind of loss you should draw too many conclusions from.

They coasted in the 3rd. Our defense lacks any consistency since Murray got hurt.

They got dominated in the first and were lucky to be tied so they didn't play hard the whole game.

You can call them lucky goals but they were attempts that the Avs put on net. Too many times, especially every single PP since Gaborik was traded, the Jackets try the lame miss the net on purpose shots or only shoot if they have a wide open look.

Jackets had their PP opportunities and at least 3 or 4 chances from a foot away that they failed to finish.

This team has still has a losers mentality.

We had an outstanding/awesome/tremendous/all that **** PK going, but Richards just HAD to put Johnson out there for the final 20 seconds of the PK. If he had a brain in his head he would have left Calvy Dubi and Tyuts out there.
As soon as I saw JJ come on the ice I knew the game was over. He's what cost us the penalty AND the game. Get your **** together, Jack.

The Jackets don't deserve to be in the playoffs. All they've done this season is blow leads.
They had a 2-0 lead with 10 mins left and lost 3-2 in OT. I hope the Jackets get into the playoffs, but honestly, they don't deserve to.

As a fan though, I'll stick by them. But this team hss a lot of maturing to do. Especially Jack Johnson.....

Seriously. Especially when 2 of the 3 goals against go off our own ****ing players.

All 3 went in off Blue Jackets.

The first one off Foligno was terrible....15 feet away and He can't get out of the way

No leadership for sure, absolutely ****ing terrible....100% gave away a point

Games like this make me not even want to make the playoffs....another 4 and done, no thank you

A goal is a goal. CBJ has scored like that, but to lose a 2 goal lead with that trash is indicative of poor awareness and positioning.

I agree, the Jackets in front of our net did more harm than good... someone was standing around hoping to keep the puck out of the net instead of preventing it from going in..

Crap luck that was at least partially self induced in my opinion...

Poor awareness and positioning? What exactly did Johnson do wrong trying to take away the pass on the last goal? What could Foligno have done differently so his wouldn't happen? They were both exactly where they should have been.

Gotta play hard to the end. It was specially important to do it today, because this is just the beginning of the 8-in-12 gauntlet...

**** luck, sure, but we could have given them a bit loss... dunno, maybe it's just hard to rationalize the stupid bounces going against us in such a crucial stretch.

Foligno has no excuse. He should never be standing in the crease defending air and when he sees the Avs player shoot it directly at him, making an effort to move would have been nice

Alright I lied, I can't be done for the night when I read this ****. I used to play defence, and I have a hard time figuring out what you're blaming Jack for. When you are a defenceman playing in front of your goalie, sometimes pucks will go in off you.

Dortmund football club has a head coach as a kind of general philosophy guide/intellectual/motivational speaker, and an assistant X's and O's guy.

We should do that.

Our head coach is chill yet serious enough to understand the psyche of the current NHL player. Realistic and humble enough to understand that all these guys are powerful men, millionaires, who are bored w/ Torts-style coaching from the 90's..they get the dichotomy shift, that players have the power now.

But Coach does some dumb chit all the time.

We need someone to put him in check when he attempts to do dumb chit X's and O's-wise.

IMO. I know the NHL just doesn't work like that at the moment but the team to go that route has the advantage. In real life an all-purpose guru doesn't exist.

Foligno was right where he was supposed to have been... For the Avs redirect play lol

Your kidding right....that shot was taken 15 feet from Foligno...and He can't react and get out of the way

****ing Joke...No excuse

4 games in 5 nights to finish the season, 3 on the road, and We give this ****ing game away. Avs fans are laughing at us, I don't blame them.

Best thing can happen is we don't make playoffs......if we can embarrass ourselves this bad in a regular season game We would be 4 and DONE again in the playoffs.

**** this...maybe Richards should sit himself
