On the couch
I've been to a couple of games there and the car always cracks me up. So absurd. I'll look for nosebleed seats that are roughly overlooking center line.

If the car being at Barclay's cracks you up, you should check out the car on Twitter - it's @IslesWhiteSUV. Unofficial account, which will become abundantly clear if you scroll back and read its tweets calling to fire Capuano and Snow and making fun of the fact that Capuano lives on Snow's property.

It's pretty funny, and good for a laugh. That and the fact that the Isles are stocked with ex-Bruins makes me want to root for the Isles when there's not a playoff push.

Hell baby
He looked OK manning that 3rd pair until his concussion. Not great, but decent enough.

After that, he was awful.

Agreed

Needless to say they must win the game tomorrow. If they lose it's probably over unless they come close to running the table

Yup, pretty much.

You can't even count on the Leafs faltering down the stretch as they have a tough final 4 games, because it could easily end up Toronto and Boston as the two teams in 9th and 10th looking in from the outside.

Lose today and they need to win at least 6 of their last 7 to get in IMO. Oh and they have the Caps on the final day who they haven't beaten in 3 seasons. Good luck.

like I said in the % thread just now, this is the pivot game. A regulation loss and I'll be rooting for only L's down the stretch to draft. A W and we're still swinging for a spot. But if Rask has a stinker in this game it's absolutely game over. Mentally this team will be finished.

So Mrs Odaat has a rare Saturday night off, she said to me "I`m going to Costco and do a bit of shopping seeing as your likely watching a Bruins game", my response, "nope, I`ll go with ya"

That`s where I stand with this team right now, freakin Costco is the better option rather than put myself through more frustration

***** Costco, I live less than 5 mins from this region's Costco and you couldn't pay me enough to go there again.

When you'd rather go to Costco than watch the Bruins, that's bad.

The scariest part by far. There is no such thing as going to Costco for one item. You go for one, and come out with 15.

yep, they always hook me with something that traditionally, you just don`t see often, I think , then ponder, then pounce on an item that I know won`t be there a few days from now then suddenly I`m looking at $500 at the cash:laugh:

Yes, that should guarantee a victory.

Asked what would right his team, Cassidy quipped, “Well, a shutout usually works best, to be honest with you. Pitch one of those to get back on track.

“But that’s putting all your eggs in one basket and putting it on one person. The Bruins have always been a defensively accountable team. Some of that part of our game has gotten away from us and we’re working to address it.

“[Rask] was very good in the first period last night and I said it, we didn’t play well enough in front of him. For us to win, you have to make better saves because of those breakdowns, and that goes hand in hand.

“A couple days ago, we had a lack of finish. Last night we had three [goals] at home. It’s important to us no matter who is in, [Anton] Khudobin or Rask, we need goaltending. Timely saves.

“I’m joking about a shutout. Timely saves are more what it’s about — right time when the team has lost its way a little bit.â€

Its the usual logic: spend less by buying more.

I say **** Costco too, but I've been working there for about 25 years...so I have no desire to be there when I'm not getting paid to...

It is either continue the slide or perhaps start the Isles on a slide of their own. No longer in control of their fate having now joined the case pack. Another game 7 like play off game tonight. Have to stop the bleeding or drift off into play off life support terriority. No margin for error now.

The B's play much better when they are not gripping their sticks to tight. I hate to see the slumping shoulders . I want some swagger tonight !!!!

I hope they get off to a good start and win. I did not have high expectations but their winning streak got me hopeful that they would at least make the playoffs. I want the young players to get the playoff experience.

GO B's !
