Bruce Cassidy was noncommittal about Rask’s status for Saturday’s game against the Islanders, who are breathing down the Bruins’ neck.

Cassidy dubbed Rask’s absence Friday a “maintenance day†and said the goalie was “getting a little work done†before the team departed for New York.

Asked if Rask will be available Saturday, Cassidy said, “That will be determined tomorrow. I don’t want to get out in front of it, to be honest.â€

My plan is to have cheesecake before the game at Junior's in downtown Brooklyn.

Bruins are 2-0-0 at Barclays Center when I have done this :D

We are going to win tomorrow and we are going to the playoffs. :handclap:

My mom sent us Junior's cheesecakes a couple of times and i was seriously underwhelmed. Maybe it's better there on site.

On the game, if ever there was a must win, I feel like tomorrow night is it.

Maybe they will let you sit in the car

I've been to a couple of games there and the car always cracks me up. So absurd. I'll look for nosebleed seats that are roughly overlooking center line.

Junior's is ok, but a bakery near me (upper east side) has perhaps the finest cheesecake in Manhattan.

5-2 Isles is my prediction. Bruins offense is drying up and the defense has been even worse.

Bruins need to inject some physicality in to their lineup. That's been almost non-existent.

We get them on the back end of a back to back and they play the pens tonight. Hopefully, that works to our benefit

My other half is going down for the game. I have my 20-mile training run tomorrow for the Boston Marathon so had to pass.

Remains to be seen which one of us will have the more painful experience, but my money is on him.

I'm with you Fenway. Going to go out and get a nice cheese cake for the game. I'm willing to try anything at this point (and chees cake doesn't take much arm twisting)

Not far behind in one and significantly better in other three out of four categories, yet so close in standings. Not to mention our Goal Differential is +11 and theirs is -7.

Seidenberg is having quite a year.

They're playing tonight, so that's a good thing.

please tell me cehlarik is in for beleskey
This is mind numbing.
Yes Cehlarik did not score much, but neither has Hayes or Beleskey, but at least
Cehlarik had some chemistry with Krecji and Pasternak.
Perhaps a few more games under his belt he does start scoring.

Call me confused.
