I really hope Staois does something with goaltending in the summer. Simply can't go into next year with Korpisalo as our 1A

Good game, just some unfortunate mistakes. Wild did a better job controlling the neutral zone.

On a side note, Kubalik is useless.

I got everything I wanted out of that game. Competitive, hard-fought, exciting, some great plays, anyone's game until the end... and we didn't get a point. That's pretty much a perfect game in this context.
If there was a way for Minnesota to not get a point too that would been better, or maybe if it went to OT and we pulled our goalie to troll them

Korpisalo was fine, wild won a bit of a lucky bounce but the first two goals were unforced errors on our part leading to grade A chances.
Not saying he wasnt fine but he got outplayed

On the PK Fleury makes a great save on Greig’s breakaway, then next mistake ends up right in the Senators net.

The turning point IMO was no call on Greig's breakaway as there could have been 2 calls there. It might have changed the outcome of this game. Congrats refs

No idea how they missed the very obvious hold at the blueline on that one. Also was a hold on pinto in NZ prior to the winning goal but it was less obvious.

Pinto had a rough night, same with Joseph. Our 4th line wasn't out much but wasn't nearly as good as they were in Winnipeg

Refs weren't particularly good all night, early whistle cost the wild a goal on a PP they never should have had on what was a remarkably bad call,

Agree on the Pinto interference, I thought it was pretty obvious a clearly created the break, no idea how the opted not to call it but the loss is fine, we don't need the points and we mostly played well.

I thought it was one of his better games in a Sens kit. Not saying much but it was one of a handful or so of solid starts he's given us

I don't know how to qualify it exactly but "careless" or more like not focused enough
Looks to me like a play you make when you're gassed

Yeah must have been, don't remember how long he was on the ice but I think it was the end of his shift. Just remembered the word in english, he "whiffed" on the puck

Kinda sad after 7 years of rebuild and them 3

But im with you

I got laughed at badly before the season saying that Montreal's rebuild was now tracking better. That's what happens when you hire competent people.

Just another one of my "silly" comments that eventually don't look silly at all.
