It would be nice if the team could spend the remaining regular season games making sure they have good starts. For a good team, they too often let the other team dictate how the game is going to be played. It should be the Rangers that decide that.

It's funny to see since it appears on paper as though Carolina is stacked at forward and mediocre on defense but they're the best defensive team in the league.

Team defense as a whole plays a giant part of that. Their forwards backcheck like mad and clog up all the passing lanes

Disappointing season for the Goat. Opportunity was there at RW, he didn't seize it.

I hear you....and I would be almost willing to bet that he will end up being a 8-10 year guy elsewhere with some success starting as early as next season in all likelihood . On a rebuilding club and lots of ice time I think he would be good for some club and could pot 15-20 goals . He still has a chance for redemption in the playoffs if he gets a crack at it again....it's slim....

Doubtful. MSG has metal detectors upon entry. I think most people feel pretty safe there.

I'm going into this kind of the same way. The Geo SO win doesn't mean much, because it was deadline eve and the team is a different animal post-deadline. I'm interested in seeing how the current team iteration fares, measuring stick-wise.
