He hasn't been great, no - it comes down to him or Domi on the 2nd line and Domi has been a bit (not by far) noticeable in recent games - Necas is struggling a bit and trying to do too much woopsy-doodle fancy stuff, But neither would go on line 1 and no one is breaking up the Staal line - they've been CAR's best by far in recent weeks.

I mean his play when he came back was absolutely what we wanted this season. We'll see how he looks now if he comes back soon.
I think last year he came back way too early and looked bad.

Big boy game tonight. Rangers have beaten the best of the best this season. Add this one at home and I may not sleep tonight. Hopefully Chytil returns and adds the speed and size to that third line so that Goodrow can play the fourth line. Should be a fun one. If the Rangers can forecheck like they have been lately, they’ll be fine. Their entire game is predicated off the forecheck.

It would be nice if the team could spend the remaining regular season games making sure they have good starts. For a good team, they too often let the other team dictate how the game is going to be played. It should be the Rangers that decide that. Let other teams do that gives them too much power.
