If the Jets lose tonight, I am not saying that the sky is falling. I am not saying panic mode sets in. I am not saying it's a doomsday scenario.

I'm just saying that's getting pretty damn close.

My hope is consistency. They gotta be more consistent and get back to their basics. Bones said he knows what the issue is so hopefully they can keep addressing it behind closed doors

If it keeps being a yo-yo going into playoffs, many of us will have a heart attack at some point along with overworked clenchers

I am happy Gabe is drawing in soon
If you look at our record with players in vs out, it has been best with both 55 and 13 in it vs them out. We had our best hockey of the year with a healthy Gabe, for whatever reason. He adds a sorely needed offensive dimension to the team. In my opinion. One player isn’t the answer but it is uncanny how poor our record is with him out vs him in (including out early season win stretch with him out from the knee injury … we got much better when he came back)

Hope he can stay healthy when he’s conditioned back in

Out of curiosity, what does having a thread go live do?

Looking forward to Vilardi playing 6-8 games before he gets injured, seriously I hope that the initial injury is all good and the spleen has healed and he comes back and helps this team heading into the playoffs

Small sample size for Stanley, but his goal differential is better tha Pionk, Dillon and Schmidt

xGF% is similar

Stanley has been a lightning rod for hate around here but his play this year has been solid. He's certainly been better than Pionk, albeit in different roles and usages

This is pretty fair

It also doesn't make much sense, if this is a lineup decision, that Samberg is the one being shuffled out...

The bigger issue is Pionk and the ripple effect his role has on the rest of the team I think. Feel for the guy with what he has been through, but that's how it looks to me.

Stanley has been pretty solid for a while once he started getting consistent playing time

I don't know why we keep trotting out the same old tired lines even when they blender then the lines revert to the same players playing with the same players. If it's not working and you're not winning keeping them together is not the answer

I'm starting to be more comfortable thinking about Stanley in the lineup compared to Pionk. I would prefer neither if I could, and Stanley doesn't make me "comfortable" per se, but Pionk IMO has been really bad, and not just for a little bit.

Game management says minimum three PP for L'Huile as one of Canada's teams. That's irrespective of what the Jets actually do.

Hoping Pionk channels his "playoff McDavid irritant" inner self, cuz he has been malodorous of late.

GJG.
Yes, McJesus looks like he came off a 3 day bender. He literally stinks.
