That’s been one of the few noticeable changes Lowry has made. Right from game one he got the team to pressure the puck.
I wish some of us here would have thought of that!

That always been my preferred style of PK.

No but really there have been only a handful of games this season that were any good. It has been a wasted year

Our PK earlier in the season almost single handedly lost us a lot of games

PK under Paul Maurice was absolutely awful (31st in PK%, 30th in Net PK%)
PK since Dave Lowry is a much more respectable middle of the league (17th in PK%, 10th in Net PK%)

and one wonders why his name never came up once for consideration in the coaching vacancies this past season!!

The Jets should be playing Samberg and Declan Chisholm for the balance of this season, and take a good look at them both. Then if they look like good NHL calibre, we'd have options of dealing off one of the other expensive D men.
So far Samberg looks really good in this game - NHL calibre I'd say.

Who writes these MPIC commercials? They’re awful.
If you want to include Scheifele in an MPIC commercial, just have him back up into shopping carts, hitting curbs and denting his bumper. Each time followed by a “FRICK”.
That would be far more entertaining.
