Still too many forwards being asked to play above their weight
Vatrano - 3rd liner at best on FLA
Copp - 3rd liner
Brodz - AHL
Gauthier - AHL
Goodrow - 3rd liner
Reaves - 4th liner on a bad team, scratch on a good

Would like to see Chytil or Laf get a chance in top6

The desire to get inside is just not there in this game. Everything is to the outside. We need some dirty goals. We need some rebounds.

There's a ton of ice, and we're just playing soft, too loose and perimeter and happy to just trade rushes. It's so damn sloppy.

Gauthier is just so limited as a hockey player. He's fast, sure he's big, but he's the stiffest, dumbest guy on the ice. He's a possession destroyer. Copp is having a pretty uneventful game. I see why Gallant put Brodzinski up there. He was meant to bring some speed to that line to open things up for Copp and Panarin. But he's just too ineffective to be in a top 6 role. I'd sooner put Motte up there, move Goody back with Laffy and Chytil and shorten the bench to 3 lines. Keep Gauthier, Reavo and Brodzinski on the pine. Let's get some momentum.

The whole teaming reading the press is such bs created by the fans. No one player gives a f*** about what they did the game before. The issue is the team refusing to crash the net. Just crash the f***ing net and shoot. Play like that and the puck will go in. Just ask the 2012-2014 kings

It's frustrating but I'd much rather this than the wins where Igor faced 70+ shot attempts.

I guess I'm just weird. Most people are entertained by wins regardless of what happens for three hours.

They have outplayed Philly by a wide margin. It's nothing like the last game.

I understand being frustrated when the team is playing poorly and winning but can you not be frustrated by what you're seeing tonight?

We tried Lafreniere in the top6, but he was on a 5 game point streak, so we had to bump him down the lineup.

And Chytil filling in for Strome wouldn't make any sense, because he's been one of our best forwards lately, and rewarding him with a better opportunity would send the wrong message.

They hit 3 or 4 posts tonight. Offensively they are sloppy but are carrying the game. Philly is getting odd man rushes, that's it.

They should be able to put up 5 or 6 in the 3rd. Flyers are literally npc obstacles, we just need a little bit of positive luck because all our luck this game has been in the wrong direction.

Oh and we can't afford to have ANY injuries in the playoffs.

Laf had what 8 points in 7 games? He's gonna finish with like 1 or 2 points for the last 12 games isn't he?

Sure but it's still not good enough. I was hoping after how bad they were Friday they would come out and play their best game of the season but that didn't happen. Outplaying a terrible team with nothing left to play for should be a given at this point in the season. Trailing that very team 2-0 going into the third, despite outplaying them, with Martin Jones in net is really bad.
 
Just put Panarin with Zib and Kreider for the third. Laf Goodrow Vatrano then blender the bottom lines.
