If we even get a PP, lol.
I mean, on the other hand, we're bound to get to the top of the PK statistic eventually with the pace we're taking penalties. The opposing teams simply can't score on all of them.

It would be "fun" to make a game/poll of some sort for us to predict how many penalties we take per game, a la the First Goal Prediction Thread. At least then we might get some kind of entertainment out of it.

Sundays game left a bad taste in my mouth. They better win this game. Stop trying to make cute passes and put the puck on the net.
Teams like Boston can afford to not play well or at 100% and can still win games. The Ducks who are a rebuilding team need to not only play well , make very little mistakes, but need that luck also.
I thought they played better against Boston than Columbus but yet won the last game.

They should have won the Boston game and that’s why it was so irritating. The B’s fan around us were drunk and obnoxious. Probably some idiot from Dorchester or Revere. As a Pats fan, I know how annoying Boston fans are. Like you said, make very little mistakes by taking dumb unnecessary penalties and just put the puck on the net.

I thought they looked uncharacteristically tired through the first 2/3 of the Columbus game, then had the high energy for the last period and OT. Hopefully just from the flight out and time zone change.
It was intra-contest load management :pWell, Zegras should be well rested.Too soon? lol.

In our last game against Columbus, the puzzlement was even worse.
There were four other teams worse than us before we played the Blue Jackets!

Welp, that proves one point. The Sporting Tribune doesn't fly out its writers beyond Vegas, with respect to Derek Lee. The Sporting Tribune also cover the Vegas Golden Knights with southern Cal sports. Helps that it's probably a 3-4 hour drive or quick jaunt from a So Cal airport to Vegas... plus, it's a great excuse to be in Vegas!
