Jackets have only scored 1 goal/game in 3 of the last 5. The offense is not good.

Glad we never gave up a 4th rounder and a grinder for Vanek or Moulson

Moulson had two goals tonight as the Wild crushed the Isle 6-0.... some old guys are worth signing...

Bad night, very bad night. We lose, everyone else wins. This game is a prime example of why fans will still toss out the "Same old Jackets" phrase.

Sad thing is the Canes did not beat us, we beat ourselves. Let's hope this is the last stinker we will see from here on out. Two losses in a row at home is not good at all. With the brutal last 3 road games of the season, this team cannot afford to lose too chump teams like Carolina at home. You just don't do it.

We needed more skill to win this game. Cam wouldn't have been enough, but he would have helped. Best thing to do now is forget it and move on. Montreal awaits.

In other news, I really would give up a lot for Anton Khudobin, been impressed most times I've watched him this season, tonight being the most outstanding. We didn't get the bounces, no, but man that guy was solid. Easily worthy of being a number one on most teams around the league.

****, not a good night for the Blue Jackets tonight... They lose, the Flyers, the Rangers, and the Red Wings all win. And Washington might still win their game, currently up 2-1.

Unbelievable...

(Yes, I used an ellipsis to indicate speechlessness. :D )

Hey what did you expect. This is a hockey club that has continue to sucked in almost their entire existence. I dunno if its because it is true that Nationwide Arena is cursed since it was built at the old prison or the entire management the entire time have the intelligence of a sack of hammers.
12 years of being the laughing stock of hockey with no promise in sight. 12 years of putting a product on the ice that has let the fans down time after time and the owners still wonder why Nationwide Arena rarely sells out like San Jose, Pittsburgh, Chicago and on.
I'm not giving up on our team don't get me wrong but the fans damn sure deserve better.
But what do I know. I'm just a aspie with dopey opinions.

Even though literally everything went wrong tonight, the Jackets still control their own destiny. We shouldn't expect failure.

We know.... it would be a blast playing Boston in the PO's though...;)

Yet failure is a common thing for the Blue Jackets. I'm praying that this is a fluke loss but if they are going to continue playing like this you can kiss the postseason good bye once again.

Great seeing the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NHL choking against a joke team like Carolina. Keep it up guys.

Hey I'm telling it like it is.

Anyway:
Think we can win against the Canadians Thursday night playing like we played tonight. Last time I check the Canadians are a far superior team than the Hurricanes.

No, you're being chicken little and I'm not wasting my time with telling you why because it won't change anything.

Yes, I'm fairly confident if we get 46 shots on Montreal and get some puck luck we will beat Montreal.

A 27 year old with only 48 NHL games but great NHL numbers.... you might be right...

Of course it's a fluke loss. Are you intentionally not paying attention to what happened tonight? Hot goaltending vs below average goaltending. 47 shots, most of which were quality looks. 3 posts. WTF, man.

The game must've looked a helluva lot different on TV than from my perch in 207 I guess. I don't understand the woe around here from some of you at all. I know the CBJ are new to playoff races, but the inability for some people to cope with the ups and downs is kind of ridiculous. Get ahold of yourselves. There are going to be ups and downs and it's going to be a wild ride for the next 3 weeks. Jeebus.

You're telling it like you think it is, and it's embarassing.

Last time I checked, Thursday's game is a new game. I'll take my chances with the way they played tonight most games from here on out.
